I have a feeling they're gonna go on a long win streak and someone like Tex or Grandy will start playing and Yankees start losing. It's always like that. Baseball business.

bad news yankee backers. texera lied about his wrist injury & smells like he'll be out for the season. Vegas went crazy & the total is down to 86.5, dropping like a stone.
congrats to all sharps (like me) that got the UNDER at 87.5.
& yankee backers...take your ARod medicine like a man! you rooted for them to stoke your spoiled self centered ego. Now go find a new bandwagon to jump on. I hear the Nationals have been getting better.
yea you're a real sharp you couldn't predict snow during a blizard there's this thing called pitching which they have a lot of don't worry eventually they'll have a losing streak

pitching is not how the yanks been winning games since the giambi/aroid era. Pitching is how gene michaels yankees won.
when is the last time the yanks brought up a franchise pitcher created from the farm system? the modus operendi of the steinbrenners has been to buy free agents. theres nobody in the minors to bring up. or they would bring them up, not sign vernon wells.
my grand point, the big one, is that the steinbrenners built the yanks on a foundation of steroids & purchasing talent instead of growing it. look at your calendars & realize the dynasty era BEGAN when george steinbrenner was kicked out of baseball, & it ENDED when george steinbrenner returned to baseball. yes, the 2000 yanks won with george. but that was gene michaels team, not georges. as soon as george was back making talent decisions, pitching went away & the name of the game was buying big juiced up bats.
now the steinbrenners & all the spoiled yankee fans are watching their chickens come home to roost
they don't develop much pitching but they have a very good 1-4 and rivera and robertson in the pen tell me again about their spring training record being as bad as the marlins as though that matters at all or about that terrible streak they were supposed to go on after they lost the first game to the rockies.
Good luck having them go 55-68 the rest of the way

i believe you & i are in agreement that nobody is standing out in the AL east. the blue jays are the favorite but hardly deserve to be a favorite since they have no chemistry. the yanks, with all their offensive woes, can win the east if their pitching holds up.
they were gonna have questions on offense with tex & granderson healthy. they will have half a lineup with with scoring threats, & half a line up with no threats, & thats the best case scenario. there will be more breakdowns, & more new faces on the field nobody ever heard of.
hey i was just playing a little devils advocate for a post. everyone knows the yanks are gonna be in for some karma rebound this season.
the yanks are like a wounded gazelle, with a pack of tigers surrounding. the weakest teams in baseball, who've always been doormats to the yanks, are gonna get a chance at sweet revenge this season. dont be surprised one bit when the mets sweep the yanks for a series.
everyone is gonna show up to beat these wounded, dead duck, old timer new york yankees.
wow i cant believe how sharp i am in this post. your welcome.
yankee backers. come back & tell me how the yanks are getting to 88 wins!

the offense is even worse then expected before the season started. Only thing that gave the yanks the lead was pitching, & the blue jays/tribe sucking when they played the yanks. yanks are 14-2 vs blue jays/tribe, & 28-36 vs everybody else.
now yankee fans pay thousands per seat to see a 5 million dollar roster out there, because all the big contracts are too unhealthy to play.
& who is the upcoming savior? ARod. Can't wait to see the day ARod makes his 2013 debut, & the yankee fans have to cheer him on as their best hope to salvage the season.
Hal & Hank are doing a heck of a job. Daddy would be proud.
