Try this one again. Peralta has been a total dud since comin over from the Mets. Yes, he shut out the Tigers in his last start, but that Tigers team is free falling at the moment. Before that game, he'd allowed 17 ER in his previous four starts. Manaea hasn't been any better, allowing 17 ER in his last 5 starts, 13 or them in his last 3 starts. Soto is back for the Mets, which can't hurt either. Tampa didn't turn the offense on last night until the last innings, and we still nearly got there, so I'll try it again.
Toronto Blue Jays +154
Gavin Williams has been very unreliable as of late for the Guards, and the Toronto bats are starting to come alive, just in the nick of time. The Jays are surging in the WC playoff race, and go to a bullpen start tonight. The staff as a whole just allowed 4 runs in their 3 game sweep of the Mariners, so maybe they've turned a corner? Probably not, but I think the bats have and at this number I'll take them to outscore the Guardians weak line up.
Atlanta Braves -1.5 +106
Not a great price to have to win by 2+, but after last nights offensive dud vs a hapless Giants team, I think they have a coming out party vs Irvin who the've already seen three times this year prior. The Nats bats just don't have the thump that they did when Wood was healthy and Garcia Jr was still around, but their bullpen is still just as terrible as they've always been.
Detroit Tigers -106
Tonight we find out if the Tigers have any hope left for the 2026 season. Their best guy is on the hill and he's had back to back starts that were a bit out of the ordinary for him. The offense has been nowhere to be found, scoring more than 2 just twice in their last 10 games. But, the Twins are going with a bullpen start, and their bullpen is extraordinarily bad. They carry the 5th worst team bullpen ERA in MLB. Twins offense looks alive after the last couple days, but that isn't sustainable.

This Cubs offense doesn't appear to be stoppable at the moment. Yes, the last few bombs/runs came off Andrew Vaughn last night, but they hammered Kyle Harrison early and often too. Their bullpen can be as bad as they want, if the offense is going to score like this regularly. Pretty incredible show going on. Crew obviously can score themselves, and Boyd has been VERY gettable recently. Wind is also blowing straight out to center all night, much like last nights left-center breeze.
Athletics/Rangers Over 7.5 -110
This will be the As fourth look at Gore this year, but most importantly is the As are going with a bullpen start. And they statistically have the worst pen in all of baseball. 8 runs is alive in every As game, but with their pen pitching every inning of it, seems too good to be true. I hope it isn't.
