Got back today from a golf tournament at PGA National down in Palm Beach Gardens. Quite the facility they have down there.
Tampa Bay Rays -1.5 +138
The Rays just swept the Os a week ago in Tampa, and Jax went 5 strong innings only allowing 1 ER on a solo HR. Baz pitched very well against his former squad in that same game, but I don't have any faith that he can do that two games in a row. TB has the vastly better offense, and pen, and I think they have an edge with Jax starting too. Os got a win last night in an offensive shootout, and I think thats probably the only win they get this series.
Atlanta Braves -106
The Sox just got swept by the hapless Twins, and return home, which is the problem. They are 8-17 @ Fenway, while the Braves come in with a 19-8 road record. If you've read anything I've wrote this year, you know I love this Braves line up, and Strider appears to be back to old form. Suarez has been phenomenal, but this Braves line up has had plenty of looks against him since he came over from division rival Philly.
Miami Marlins +110
The Jays offense lacks any real punch so far this year, and without Vlad, they get a lot worse. He isn't in the line up again tonight, so I'll take Alcantara, and the top of the Miami order to get things done north of the boarder. The Fish arms have been excellent as of late, and Sandy can keep it going after a rough start his last time out.
More coming.

The Cards line up relies wayyy to much on the top of the order right now. They can't carry all the weight. Certainly not against a guy like Harrison, who has been as good as anyone as of late. He's given up 3 ER in his last 5 starts. That's 28 IP, allowing only 19 hits, and 7 walks, while striking out 41. This Cards team has lots of swing and miss in the line up. McGreevy is the best we got, so I'm hoping he amps up his intensity tonight vs the division leader and at least keep them in the game for the first 6 innings.
Houston Astros +114
Houston might have been my last choice if you made me pick the first team to throw a no hitter this year. Their pitching has been really bad. But the Rangers offense is equally unimpressive. Alexander was very good in a spot start last time out, and the Stros will take anything they can get from an arm at the moment, so he earns another shot in the rotation. Frankly, I don't know if Texas can score 3 runs, and I know Houston can.
San Diego Padres -112
100% fade of Aaron Nola.
Arizona Diamondbacks -106
The Snakes just swept the Giants last week, and Mahle got beat around in his turn. The Giants have seen Rodriguez yet this year, and their offense is really starting to catch some fire. They've scored 5 or more runs, in 7 of their last 10 games. They are 8-2 over that span. The Giants just don't have any firepower to stay in a game, that the Snakes should score at least 5 runs in.

Good that ATL held on for the ml win but nuts, had them rl along with CIN rl and ARI rl for what would have been a nice three leg parlay. Two in the ninth killed it. Oh well. Win some, lose some. Tomorrow's another day as they say!
Thanks STL...
