i had a lot of respect for you until you posted this nonsense...
1. Just be because Josh Hamilton threw the ball "So God killed him, not Josh Hamilton?", he did not kill him..
2. GOD has a lot more power than you think
Really, troy9828? Please, tell me more, because I'm fascinated by the subject, but can't find anyone who can prove the existence of any higher power. I've found lots of people who are good at insisting that there is a higer power, but no real, you know, evidence of any sort. But you have some? You have knowledge about the extent of God's power? That's incredible. Please share. I want to learn all about this.

May God bless us and not make any of us fall over a railing at a baseball game to our violent and painful death, because we know he can do it. Just ask lionheart58 if you don't believe me. God has a lot more power than we think. Just ask troy9828. You see, these guys know things.

In 39 posts only two of them talked about the announcers laughing.
A fan goes over the railing and falls on his head and they just assume he is ok and laugh about it for over 10 seconds? If they are sick fucks and find that funny, fine. But considering they were on a live broadcast being watched by hundreds of thousands of people they should know better.
I feel terrible for the family of the man who died and hope they weren’t watching that broadcast with those assholes laughing at their father/husband/son falling to his death.
Sorry, replace "you people" with some of you. Better? I try not to go around pointing out peoples mistakes. But I appreciate you going back to research my small statements. The announcers thought there was padding he fell to ( as he stated that most parks do have under railings) so his assumptions in that quick instance told him the man probably fell 4 or 5 feet ( in which people more then likely get back up from) on to a padded plat form. After he realized how far the man actually dropped his actions turned. Everyone makes mistakes. People shouldn't judge by someones instant response to a situation that is very unfamiliar with. This sort of incident doesn't happen on a regular basis, so you can not fault a man for not having an "acceptable" reaction to a situation that the announcer thought was a safe accident. Majority of parks have walk ways below railings with padding ( for this situation).

That's all he does BigGame. The announcers simply did not know how seriously the incident was nor the fact that the guy fell on his head and died. It's really as simple as that. They reacted as if the guy wasn't seriously hurt, which is very acceptable since no one knew how seriously the injury was at the time.

I watched the video and it made me feel absolutely terrible. Especially that his son watched it happen. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family.

God gives life and God takes away life,
He is under NO OBLIGATION to anyone to cut short or prolong anyones life.
God works in mysterious way's, well, well beyond the capabilities of the understanding of the human brain.
Just pray for the man's soul and his family and keep your nose out of the workings of God.

Hey MrBator, given your thorough dissection of sports and betting on them, I suspect you have similarly dissected the world of religion... have you unraveled any discoveries? I'm all ears...

No need to go back “to research.” I already read the thread and the post before yours was #39.
A man fails over a rail head first and disappears behind a huge wall and they just assume he is perfectly fine and laugh about it for over 10 seconds on live tv? They are either complete morons, assholes, or both.
I have no idea why you are so adamant in your defense of these announcers. Are you an A’s fan or something?
Again: It's bad enough his son was with him, but I hope the rest of his family wasn’t watching that broadcast with those announcers laughing at their father/husband/son falling to his death.

Just to be clear, Rostos - so you also believe that God can end people's lives? He makes the call? Does He also determine the manner in which a person's life ends, like lionheart58 believes? Lionheart58 is on record as telling us that God caused the trajectory of that foul ball in Arlington to ricochet back onto the field of play, close enough to Josh Hamilton to pick up and throw right towards God's intended victim. Personally, I think lionheart58 might be a little nutty. Where do you stand?

Just like we as humans CANNOT PROVE Casey Anthony murdered her child or prove that she knew who did it, yet deep down we all know what is true.

As i said, God gives life and he ends it as it is in his will.
Dont try and get inside the mind of God or how things work in this world. The human brain cannot grasp the sheer size of the universe yet the human wants to get inside the mind of the creator of the universe?

It seems the wisest, most spiritually connected individuals I've interacted with lean heavily towards the belief that a higher power exists among us.
I don't discount that possibility at all. There might be, there might not be - I just don't know, and I'm fascinated by people who are certain that there is a higher power, and even more fascinated by the detailed knowledge they seem to have about how this higher power operates.
