First off...Edwin Jackson shouldn't be a -160 favorite. Now...Chris Young is a solid pitcher when he's healthy. Especially at home. But...he's not home so that's kinda irrelevant. Overall...the team hits .202 in 99 ABs against Young. I actually like this Padres team a lot. With the back to back combo of Adrian and Blanks (especially in this ballpark) they can put up runs in a hurry...like we saw in the 9th inning of the opener. And I really like their bullpen. They can also produce runs with small ball. However...I think the bottom of their lineup is as bad as it gets in the bigs. If they can somehow produce within the first 4-5 guys...then they'll win this game. Nobody else will really do much from 6-9. That's kinda the only problem I see.

Batters 5-8 are 6-11 with 1 HR and 5 RBIs.

 

Hunter is single handedly keeping the Angels alive right now. And how many walks does Aybar have already this season? This is incredible. I have both him and Nick Johnson on my fantasy team. If only they calculated OBP.
