Do you ever back out of a game after looking at the steam the next day even though you've decided the night before who you want?

Also, do you ever play with -1 lines? Are there any value to taking these bets since if they only win by one, your money is returned and it minimizes damage to units won.

I hate to say it but the Giants should be the play.  I have been on the Tiny Tim fade train but I am staying away from this game.  The problem is that now everyone wants to fade Tiny Tim a game late so he will probably win.

I find a wager size that I am comfortable with and I bet the same amount each time.  Since I take dogs only and never lay juice it is a true flat bet.  I only go larger on a game very very rarely. 

If you want to raise your flat wager than you have to earn the right by winning more money and only with the books money.  This to me is the most important and toughest lesson every gambler must learn.  It is easier said than done.   You must learn discipline to not chase and bet games just to bet for action.  This is the main reason why people lose.

I'm on my grind day-in and day-out and I don't only play underdogs so am I wrong? No... I'm still making money. Just goes to show you that your method is not the 'proper' way, just one of many. Keep it up.

Agreed that consistency is a good thing (in betting and life) but if you consistently vary your wager amount depending on play strength (without chasing) then I think that trumps flat betting any day of the week. By flat betting, you are saying that all your plays have the same positive edge which is HIGHLY unlikely...

If wanna talk about the 'proper' way of betting, then you should refer to +EV theory and Kelly Criterion which has been established as the only true and logical way to beat the books.

What about you last nite talkin all that shit about how hot you were gonna be and you got rocked in 2 out of 3 and got blown out with your big $600 or $1000 bet on SD...uh, he was on AZ big...so cmon guy, really? 165 doesn't usually make 2 wagers in 1 game.  He just goes for the kill.

I thought they did which is why I backed them Sunday night and last night which Custards last stand.  They are dead, just to much to ask for w/all the injuries.  It's over for them and they know it, Yanks and TB just keep winning and winning.
