The WHIP and ERA are virtually the same, wins and losses don't matter. Bedard's BAA is impressive, I'll give you that. As for homers, he would have given up way more than CC, given equal innings.
Hey, I think Bedard's a bad ass, but I don't feel the same way about Felix and that was my main challenge. I can pick at least 20 (maybe 30) pitchers I would rather have on the mound before him. CC and Fausto are no brainers ahead of him.
..King is only 21 years old and he has absolutely filthy stuff. he possess command over the 3 basic skillls required to be an elite SP.ability to dominate hitters w/ the SO, solid command of the strike zone and the abillity to get a high % of ground balls.most power pitchers are fly ball pitchers but not King, he's an extreme GB pitcher.saying there are 20 or 30 better pitchers in baseball is insane...i expect a break out year for him this year w/ CY stats as well as Bedard. this combo will be dominating.
