Phillies down 4-0 two outs in bottom of the ninth win 6-4.

Down to their last strike they had one man on base. The next four batters get on base. Kyle Schwarber then comes up and blasts a 459 foot two run homer to secure a 6-4 win.  Is this the most unlikely -1.5 run line win of all time?

That's a good question. There have no doubt been even more astounding and improbable -1.5 runline winners in baseball history, but that one by the Phillies on Sunday certainly earned a spot in the Top 100 of all-time.

Very rare indeed.

N Seattle lost to cubbies by a mile n saving their relief players from getting more earned runs so they put position players to pitch. 2 runs

Then Monday, Seattle kicking Philly azz with their ace wheeler getting rocked to mess with his era. 

Inconsistent so I wouldn't say Philly is the best team in the league.  They are beatable n can't carry the momentum to the next game.
