22-15 now..somehow we get shutout by a box Ranger club..ho hum..hopefully the hangover wears off quickly and we roll on Satuday!  Thanks Rays for beating a overrated Angles squad!!!

Well my A's have hit a rough road patch now in Texas and Cleveland..ATL looming...happy with the arms as a whole but AJ's and others assertations of bad hitting is rearing it's ugly head now! 

The good thing is the season is still early and I think the pitching will be good all year and the hitting will get hot too!  Stay tuned...

One more win from sweeping Tigers..only 3.5 back and Angels coming in on Friday for 3 day series..still in position for division and World Series..it's gonna be a magical summer for the green and gold!!!

Another bad offensive performance by the green and gold..hoepfully Harden gets it done later today vs Fish and we score about 3 or 4 runs for the win!

Late evening or early morning to you all!  Well the green and gold had a stellar performance tonight from lefty rookie Greg Smith..key error by Rivera opened the door and the Halos were finished.  The A's are now 82-81 now vs the Angles since 2002.  Oaktown plays these guys as good or better then anyone.  They did leave 18 LOB which irks me to no end...another W due to incredible pitching.  I feel Harden must win tomorrow for Oak to win the 3 game series..feel Saunders will beat Eveland most likely.  If Harden is a slight dog just put your green down for the green and gold!!!

At least you had players to leave on base. The Angels are in a huge hitting slump. All they did was pop out all night. They will

proabably not have much more luck tonight going against Harden.

Big Oakland a fan since 1985 here i think oakland this year has a team  to compete a not a bunch of overpaid players. by the end of the year they will put lots of pressure on the angels

The AL pennant opened at 60/1and I put a 500 on it!  It is now 75/1 and I put 500 on it!

 

The WS odds opened at 60/1 and I put another 500 on it!  Curently they are 125/1 and I put 500 on it!

 

These plays happened before the season for me....

 

Love the way the pitching has been this year although injuries are quite unsettling for both relief pitching and several key position players..if the team can stay within 5 or 6 games of the division or wild card by September and have key contributors back you'll see a playoff run!

Well you all know Beane traded Harden and Gaudin for 4 Cubs players today..we will stay still shock the world and might even win the division!  I said back in February that if Arizona could win last year we had a good chance this year.  Keep grabbing the green and gold guys and gals throughout the summer and beyond.....

Beane's got something up his sleeve. But question: Why does the smartest GM in MLB bb give up arguably THE best pitcher????? All the A's really needed to compete in the playoffs is a power hitter. B/w Hardin and Duchsherer they had phenomenal starting rotation (not to mention these guys are fun to watch).

 

I have to admit I'm disappointed and Shocked by Bean's moves here..

By the way, the Cubs still suck and will choke again this year notwithstanding Hardin. The best team in Chitown has and still is the Sox. Go Ozzy n the boys....
