dumped, I was looking into that. I'm working on an Over/Under chase but it's quite time consuming. In order for me to play it, it would not only need to be profitable year in and year out but it needs to be very profitable or just the risk/stress just isn't worth it.
I will need time to backtest at least 3 years to see but am definitely interested in adding a O/U chase in the mix.
Detriot Lions, here is a sample betting structure:
betting structure:
we are playing a 4 game chase to win 1 unit.
example: (with consistent lines)
Game 1: Bet line -170 , risk 1,7u to win 1u
game lost, it moves to Game 2
Game 2: Bet line -170 , risk 4,59u to win 2,7u[the lost amount on A bet + 1 unit]
game lost, it moves to Game 3
Game 3: Bet line -170 , risk 12,40u to win 7,29u[the lost amount on A & B bet + 1 unit]
game lost, it moves to Game 4
Game 4: Bet line -170 , risk 33,49u to win 19,69u[the lost amount on A, B & C bet + 1 unit]
if Game 4 is a loser then -52,18 units overall, if D Bet wins (or any other) u win 1 unit
we are playing a 4 game chase to win 1 unit.

liontri, this is a 4 game chase. If it loses game 1, it goes to game 2 and so on up until game 4. For each game that I lose, I chase to win back the following game plus my original profit of $100. Please see post #30 for the betting structure. Once a team loses game 4, then it's considered a loss (a huge loss I might add). I hope that helps.

Thank you very much for clarifying this system, mate. I completely understand. That is why you said for anyone following you, a big bankroll is also needed. As most chasers, pending plays or open chases are not counted in record until they are complete

The Giants play overlaps with two different chases, we're playing both.

Definitely a weird start to the season with all but 1 chase clearing in game 1 while the other is going the distance to game 4 this early on.
