Walker Buehler is set up for success in this ballgame in more ways than one. The splits are screaming:

Home, vs a heavy right handed lineup, favorable catcher, 4 days rest.

Hopefully he comes through.

Both teams have been struggling pretty bad recently. 

The Padres remain at home, didn't travel last night, the Reds coming in from St. Louis. The Reds used up their pen yesterday, hopefully they'll ask Abbot to stretch out, through thick or thin.

How great can one angle be?

To play devil's advocate, what if the Giants are flying high after that win? That was a hell of a ball game, they grinded out a win.

They're 4-1 last 5, probably feeling pretty good.

 I took a glance.  The Padres should scrap at home.  Home cooking feeds the heart.  Buehler still has gas in the tank.

He's opening. 1, maybe 2 innings. Then Mikolas takes the bulk.
