Hedging on a parlay is an awful waste.  Bookies love it 'cause you're giving them free juice by betting both sides.

I know its too late now, but the best advice is not to get in that situation.  You should never be carrying a parlay where all your teams have won and you have time to pick the last side.  In this case, having just won a 3-teamer would be much better than having 3 wins plus an Open.  You could have still dumped it all on the 4th game, but the option is yours to go all, half, none, etc.  And if you did end up going all in on the 4th game, your payout would usually be significantly higher, as most books screw your odds on anything over a 3-teamer....

My locals now have SF/AZ total at 8.5 flat.  I'm surprised its moved this way.  Anybody see a reason;  is it suddenly incredible windy in Phoenix?
