KEY !! how about the Mets tonight ? its safe to say they're going to win but should i take the F5 -0.5 or just ML which is -200 ?
I hope The Man doesn't mind me answering for him, it is his thread, but I think I can show a good way of deciding whether to go full game or five innings as a bet. ESPN has stats that show how well a team's relief staff is doing. Click on MLB, then stats, then team pitching, then scroll down to relief staff. Mets relief staff has a collective ERA of 2.75. San Diego is at a sky high 5.03. Since you typically pay a premium for five innings, especially when a stud like DeGrom is pitching, it is a no brainer, take the full game. Hope it helps.

Key where does your probability lie with Arizona tonight? They are +128ish on the ml and (maybe more intriguingly) they are +100 on their team total over 3.5. They have been crushing left handed pitching this year and are facing a young guy prone to wildness coming off a 114 pitch outing.
Any thoughts?
Not crazy about that game or it's props. Conley still has a greater upside than Ray and the Dbax have been good versus lefty but not exceptional.
Now and then even a BLIND squirrel can find an acorn

On the surface it looks like "easy money" any way you play the Mets, and it might be, but I shy away from East Coast teams making their first of the season trip to the West Coast until they get a game in. If I played I would figure my numbers were right and lay the 1.5 over the full game, depending on deGrom and his offense over the full course and not necessarily right out of the box.

big fan of yours Key...but no way both of these hit. just dont see it. Jays are -190 for a reason. and i dont think its to give extra money to us- the degenerates. and the Cubs, they will eat up Ross on this big stage. anyways, best of luck.

Key, I really likethe Cubs to show who's boss and, to show that their run-differential, the best since you can't remember back that far long ago is for real To put it in perspective, the distance between the Cubs’ run
differential and that of 2nd-best team (the Nats)
is the same as the difference between the Nats and the 20th-ranked
Oakland A’s.
And BIG AL OBAMA says his new home, not Chicago = "his home" to use the machine like JFK to be POTUS no - not Hawaii - not even Indonesia, nor Kenya - no, his new home = Wash D.C. will win it all for him in his last few months (in office there).
All this spells Cubs pretty good against Baker's old-club he ruined Cubs -2.5

I like your picks way better Key, I just thought i would show a tool that is out there to decide if you play full game or five innings. For instance I decided to take Texas five innings instead of full game because the Texas bullpen has been lit up this year to a tune of a 4.98 ERA, worst in the american league.
