I can only answer from the objective observer as a Baseball Fan that Trout's talents have deteriorated meaningfully over the years. And it started in the prime of his career at age 29 !!!!

Like you said, you live in SoCal, you know Mike Trout better than any of us. He is never on national TV because the Angels suck. The Angels owner hasn't got anything of value in return for having trout on his team. They can't even get a Sunday night baseball game to show off their beautiful stadium and weather. All of your posts are excellent on my thread. You know Mike Trout the best. And like you said, he has been deteriorating since his prime when he was 29. Actually, a few years before that. I appreciate your post. They are ALL spot on.

You want me to specify more? Uh, 600 strikeouts, 430 hits, 245 average the last 7 seasons including this one. What else can I say? Well, I can say this. Without the Yankee Series in which there were 22 home runs hit, IN WHICH HIS FANS AND THE MEDIA WON'T MENTION BECAUSE THE BALL WAS FLYING OUT OF THE BALLPARK EVEN THE BAT BOY WAS HITTING HOME RUNS DURING BATTING PRACTICE, but y'all won't mention that! Take those 4 days away. And trout is having his worst season of his career, well besides last year, but y'all WON'T talk about that either. Take the 4 days away in New York, and he is having a horrendous season. Matter of fact, he's having a horrendous season with those 4 magical days in New York where the ball was flying out of the ballpark where 22 home run were hit

When it's all said and done.... nobody will have negatively contributed to his team w more strikeouts than hits, AND never done anything in the postseason for his team, than Trout. Oh, but all those walks and OPS. Gimme a break . Getting into the HOF is all about YOUR production ( i.e. Triple Crown Metrics). Hits, RBIs, BA

....I sure do wish I was...Hint... I attended games at Forbes Field when they still left the batting cages up against the fence in center field because how far it was to there.. If you do not think he is getting into the HOF you my friend IMO will learn something when he retires... Its a lock...
Grabbed the game logs off of StatMuse:
11 games in May and 7 multiple strikeout games.
25 games in April and 7 multiple strikeout games.
6 games in March and 2 multiple strikeout games.
Got the Typical odds for a 2+ strikeout prop, odds are often closer to:
~ +180 odds +28.8 and -26 = +2.8 YTD
11 games in May and 10 with at least 1K
25 games in April and 15 with at least 1K
6 games in March and 4 with at least 1k
Got the Typical odds look something like:
~ -240 odds +29 and -31.2 = -2.2 YTD
Is this really profitable? Is there really any sort of edge here?
Maybe if you can isolate how he does against a particular pitcher or something.
Just looking at the average expected odds it appears the books have this adjusted about right for someone to lose money on this prop over the year if they simply bet it blindly.
