   How is Mike Quade a proven winner? Sandberg took over the Iowa Cubs and was voted manager of the year by his peers..
Ace, you obviously do not know baseball, I mean you called Mike Quade a "proven winner." He managed a month of meaningless baseball, it's easy to win when there's nothing on the line..
   Stick to Texas and football Ace, because you obviously know nothing about baseball...

But your right no matter who they are going to stink. Why bring in Ryno while they still have all these bad contracts. Let them expire then get a good manager.

whatever jake, enjoy not going to cubs games now since you've got a no namer managing the team.
another one living in their parents basement, yeah that's orginal around here.
if it's so easy to win when there is nothing on the line what happened to the 20 or so teams that knew they wouldn't touch the playoffs once the all-star break arrived.

   I like Mike Quade, seems like a real nice guy...I mean, how could you not root for the guy? He has a job that he will most likely fail at..(because of the lack of talent, not because of him) I was pretty much steamed because Sandberg was always my favorite player...Actually, who needs to go is Jim Hendry..The fact that he still has a job is a crime...
