I know this looks square, but sometimes the obvious side is still the right side.

Milwaukee has the better starter, the better offense, and the cleaner path to separation. Banks may open, but Painter is still expected to handle the bulk, and that’s the matchup we want.

The safer markets are overpriced, so im laying the run and a half like a Truck and trusting Milwaukee to win this one comfortably.

The Phillies are at full strength. The only absence is Adolis Garcia, who got banged up Wednesday, but he had been struggling over the last month. They may lose a little defensively, but offensively they’re not missing much.

Banks gave up 1 run. Painter came in and gave up 1 more. Milwaukee has scored off both parts of the Phillies pitching plan, and that’s exactly what we needed 

I’m not going to look in the rearview mirror on that Baltimore total. I felt like I had a good read on it, and yeah, it looks like it’s going over.

Now we just need Milwaukee to smash this run line, and everything is great in the city of lights

He’s at 39 pitches with 33 strikes and only 6 balls, which is an absurd strike rate. That tells us he’s attacking the zone, getting ahead, and not giving Philly free traffic

Those are elite command numbers.

Misiorowski is at 52 pitches with 41 strikes and only 11 balls, which is almost an 79% strike rate. That is ridiculous. He is not fucken around, not walking people, and not giving Philadelphia cheap baserunners.

The fastball is still sitting 102 mph, and he’s mixing cutter, curve, slider, and change perfectly

Painter is now at 67 pitches, with only 39 strikes and 28 balls. That is a lot of work, not great command, and Milwaukee already cracked him open.
