LAD/BREW live in game comments welcome

That bottom of the 5th for the Brewers was very similar to the top of the 2nd for the Dodgers. A bunch of baserunners, growing excitement, but ultimately only a single unsatisfying run to take the lead.

Fwiw, this is the first time in these playoffs that an NL team leading after 3 IP has ended up trailing after 5 IP. Previous six teams to lead after the 3rd all maintained that lead headed into the 6th.

The Dodgers had all that excitement going in the top of the 2nd inning. Guys reaching base against Milwaukee’s best pitcher, a run on the board and the bases loaded with only one out. They were on the verge of not only a lead of 2-0 or greater, but on imposing their will upon the Brewers at the beginning of their NLCS rematch from a year ago.

But then Ki.ke Hernandez bounced into a double play, and suddenly the Brewers were out of trouble. The Dodgers are batting 4-21 since then and have only 3 outs left.

Muncy has hit two 9th inning homers already these playoffs. Doyers need to keep the deficit to one to give Max a chance at being their hero.

Now it's all on Max.

I need someone to come back n cover.  Either dodgers or Baltimore +3.5…

@hoopsvader

 Dodgers left 20 men on base versus them Brewers 12. With total of three runs that’s ridiculous..
