Joe Morgan is the Biggest Racist in Sports

I grew up with the Big Red Machine and idolized Morgan, played second myself throughout bball career...but Morgan on MANY occasions been very outspoken about white vs.black players.  He recently stated that there are not enough current black ball players....He's crying rascism...interesting.

For what its worth, I cannot listen to Morgan do a game or Marty Brenneman (HOF broadcaster) on radio for Cincy games...

Word on the street is Morgan may be hired into the Reds organization...don't quote me.

LOL... no problem.  He was a real marval no question.  Sometimes I wish that I lived in the golden age of baseball and got to see some of these players play live.  Just the idea that Ted Williams had such good vision that he could read the lettering on the ball as it rotates just boggles my mind.

Maybe but still would be great to see some of the all time greats in action.  For the record, I would not be shocked at all knowning Babe Ruth being the show man he was that he called his shot many times but the only one people remember is when he called it and it worked.  What is hard to believe a reliever who is known for only throwing down and in fastballs couldn't be pulled into the gap by Babe Ruth?

I personally don't believe Mr. Morgan is a racist, he is just proud of his race just like how everybody else is proud of their race. Mr. Morgan is a decent color commentator IMHO. He definitely is an expert on the game...very knowledgeable of all the aspects of the great game of baseball.

He is qualified to be a big league manager and I'm sure he has gotten offers to manage in the past. I believe he is not interested in managing because he just can't bring himself to manage today's spoiled rotten, grossly over-paid ball players who are different creatures than the ones Mr. Morgan played with in the 70s.

Those ballplayers during Mr. Morgan's playing career were a different breed...a much better breed of ballplayers than today's!
