So last year you made a killing, this year you perhaps give it all back?!? Made for a cool story,,,
I'm Back, and I'm betting the same wager AGAIN...
The dead bats of the tired and fading Dodgers came up with fewer hits (3) today than runs scored. More defensive miscues from the Brewers gifted the visitors 3 of their runs. Otherwise this was a lopsided game with the Brewers breaking the Dodgers backs by breaking down their very best pitcher.
Yoshinobu Yamamoto is probably steaming right now. Several times he indicated that he wanted his catcher to challenge a call, but Will Smith never did. The result was 37 pitches thrown in one inning and the end of his day on the mound. It just goes to show that things don’t always go smoothly even for those who are the best at what they do. By now most people will realize that it was wacky for the Dodgers to be favored in this series (and at -160!!), but that was the premium the oddsmakers charged.
l’m not saying this series is over, but I don’t see the Dodgers regrouping in time to take Game 3. The Brewers aren’t out to simply advance. They want to sweep these bastards and will play in Game 3 with maximum intensity, something seldom seen in a road team that’s up 2-0 in a best-of-7.
Maximum intensity. It was there. Expect it to be there again tonight.

You might as well sprinkle a bit at today’s number…. The Dodgers have taken more of my $ than any team in baseball…. By a good margin… and I did a parlay of dodgers/rays at start of this… so they will get a tad more…. But I hate playing them… as someone said earlier…. They are soo overpriced for your return over a season…. Ohtani being hurt ..has hurt…. And I know it’s only one play but I go back to game one…bases loaded and 1 out… and guy hits into a double play…. Then in the very next inning … or half of inning… the brewers manufacture a run the old fashion way…. Get on first…. Steal second… bunt him over…. And get him in…. The dodgers should have done something similar in a game with each teams ‘best’ pitchers on the mound….. and I don’t think it even entered the dodgers coaching staffs head…. But to me they just got out coached of a run themselves… and allowed one the way most of us were taught to score in baseball…… to me that was the momentum shifter…. And of course Milwaukee has continued to do the little things… while the dodgers are hoping for 3 straight doubles…. And they are not getting that… Dodgers look tired… and they prob should be…. They’ve had a good last 2.9 years…. While buying the best players each year…. My 2 cents…. Bator sniffed this out early…. Good job by him.

hate to say this but I don’t think the dodgers will be swept… on them big today
It’ll be interesting to see what kind of fight they bring to this potential last stand.

I saw the same thing in the Dodgers players eyes as I saw in the Chiefs eyes when they went to 3 in a row…. The grind it takes to get to that spot… is simply more than they want… it’s great in theory… in April……… But to beat hungry/good teams…. Is just not there…..Let’s go home and enjoy what we’ve accomplished the last few years…. My 2 cents. And great for Milwaukee….. Hope they win it all.
