Cuddyer .444 (8 for18) with 3 doubles and one home run in his career v Millwood
 
Cabrera .322 (2for28) v Millwood and since 2007 he is 9 for 19 (.474BA) with 5 walks v Millwood
 
Punto  lifetime .412 (7 for 17) with 2 doubles and 3 walks v Millwood
 
Punto is also a .302 hitter with 10 walks in 16 career games at Rangers Ballpark
 
Cuddyer has 2 home runs and 5 RBI in his past 6 games at Rangers Ballpark

No I am not going for an upset in this game...in fact my numbers indicate that the Twins should be favored in this game...about -110 or -112, so I am getting value in this line.  With that being said, this is how I pick my MLB plays...and almost all of my plays are on dogs.

 

I expect Kubel to be in the lineup tonight, and not sure about Morneau, but I would say he will not playing tonight

99.9% of the time these plays end up losing. How many GOY of POM bets have we watched lose.

Glad I took Texas early.

this is MrHeadache's style.. look at his prior posts.. there is no need to bash him. He gave you his analysis if you don't like it then don't follow.

the only thing that i don't like about the play is the Ron Kulpa is the home plate ump

the home team has won 10 out of 14 games this season with him behind the plate

over the past 4 seasons, since 2006, the home team is 75-38 but I still like the play

I like the Rangers to win this series and that would require a strong performance out of Kevin Millwood today. I have held out for the Twins for weeks now, but the fact of the matter is that they suck. They are 5-12 in their last 17 and they have been one of the worst road teams in the league. Scott Baker has had all kinds of trouble this season and he is just 1-8 as an underdog (1-7 as a road dog). Kevin Millwood is 21-8 in his last 29 home starts, and facing a Twins lineup likely sans Justin Morneau I like him to get another 'W'.

headache, i like your reasoning... at first glance i liked the rangers now i lean towwards the twins.  is this a go to play if your down a lot this week? i was thinking of the Brewers as my go to play for the day, thinking they wont get swept with theyre ace on the mound today by a bad pirates team.  i dont really see pitt scoring many runs... but what do i know, i cant pick a winner these days for shit
