Padres are a nice Road +DOG team. It's early this year, last year they were great - loved 'em last year, and love 'em @ Coors Field.
I'm a big Humber guy - he hasn't pitched yet due to a rained game last week -vs- Cleveland. Arieta of the O's isn't all that bad. He's young. 2nd year in the Bigs, and he faced the White Sox once last year and had an OK start. And I don't think the Orioles faced anybody from the Blue Jays with stuff like Humber - he's got a beautiful 12-6 curve. Works in the change up too. Like I said, Humber grew on me quick early on last year. He did struggle at the tail end of the season...
I like Gee -vs- the Braves bats more then Hanson -vs- the Mets bats - add the value on the Mets play.
Gee faced the Braves 6 times last year - 2-1 with an ERA @ 3.38. One of those wins was @ Turner Field...
Hanson faced the Mets twice last year - 0-2 with an ERA @ 10.80

= Joe Saunders doesn't have the greatest stats following up a game where he allowed no earned runs. Something I like doing is pulling up the probable starters the night before and looking @ their previous starts. I'm big on fading pitchers off of no earned runs their previous start, and bounce back starts. Can't take all the credit for this as I picked up on this from my earlier years in Covers when watching my favorite capper/poster do his thing.
I got back into 36 months of previous statstics. And I start crunching numbers from there...

On the other side of the hill is LHP Erik Bedard pitching in one of the better parks for hitters in the Big Leagues. Last year, the D'Backs were in the Top 10 (#10) in the MLB in Runs Scored -vs- LHP and Top 10 (#4) in the MLB in HomeRuns -vs- LHP. Aaron Hill is a newer addition to the DBacks lineup, and he's got .300 career AVG off of Bedard.
