Had I bet/posted my Saturday selections I would have lost my ass then too! 

But in effect I handicapped myself and backed off.

 Left that one for last on my handicapping list.  Checking now . . . 

No play as I have the ASTROS with a meager +0.2 runs edge and the line suggests no value either side.......almost a coin-flipper.

My runs estimate is a total range of 7.2 to 9.8, so no play on the total either.

LIVE BET is always a possibility though

Fresh off scoring 18 runs over a 3 game series at Philly the Blew-it Jays return to Canada to face the BoSox who seem to have lost their offensive punch the last two games in home losses to the mediocre and shorthanded Athletics...

2026marks' the first season in decades in which I am continuing to fully cap games every week AFTER the ASB, as I halted many years ago due to consistent losses accumulating in the second half, nearly wiping out my gains from the first halves.  Last year was my first attempt, which went well, although I only dabbled in a few spots and playoffs. 

I have tweaked my capping a little this season and we shall see if this holds for the 2h or collapses as it nearly always did in years bygone ...but I won't hesitate to stop and save my BR if it indeed appears headed that way.

Good luck buddy! Late games that caught my attention are the following, Royals +1.5, Padres ML, and Athletics ML. I'll keep posted on your thread and see if we read these games right. Padres ML is my lock for the day. Mize is due for a win specially at his now home field now. 

Over their last 10 HOME games, since mid-June,

the mighty Blew-it Jays have averaged a league WORST 2.20 rpg 

Meanwhile their opponent for this series, the Baahhstin Red Sox, have been the exact opposite!! - ripping up the offense record books while on their 17 - 5 run in the second half! 

BUT....Toronto just scored 18 over 3 games in Philly!

...and that INCLUDED facing elite starters, WHEELER and LUZARDO!!! 

Question is: how to gauge Toronto for this HOME series...

Do we assume they are beginning a phase of POWER now, or do we assume that now that they are back home they will suck again like they have since mid-June?

Opposite ends of the spectrum . . . 

  So it would appear that assessing/predicting Toronto's offense for this HOME series vs Baahhstin is going to involve the antithesis of sound handicapping:  "guessing"   

Should know my feelings about "guessing" by now...

 Therefore, the prudent approach here is to PASS on this series (for a couple games) and watch for some sort of consistency from the Blew-it Jays.....and ftm, BoSox who only scored 3 their recent 2 games!
