Still very concerned about how MIZE will respond to being cast off by Detroit....not so good his first game and for all we know tonight could be more of the same.... hard to say.

But until he shows with a couple GOOD outings in his new digs, I'm passing due to the uncertainty....I don't need the stress of a "guess"

This game at Sutter Health Park in Sacramento could be a LOT CLOSER than the odds are suggesting.  I believe Tampa is overpriced here.   As a team they are better obviously but in this specific scenario I think that large edge erodes waay down to a slight edge only.

It will be Peralta's second start with Tampa after the Mets cast him off.

His first start was a disaster and Freddy came in with worse than avg numbers to begin with!  They are even worse NOW.  Lucky for him he is not facing a GOOD offense, although AT HOME the A's could surprise despite missing people.   And LOPEZ has turned his pitching around considerably the past several starts....

I give Tampa ~ +0.5 run edge...

And of course I am PASSING on the Dodgers/Skubal trying to win by 2 at home.

MacKenzie Gore was really good last start, working 6 shutout innings in a win over the Giants.

Gore and the Rangers are favored vs the Angels. '

However MacKenzie Gore is 0-11 since June 2024 as a favorite after a win last start.
