I am a complete degenerate junkie piece of shit, constantly reloading every payday just to piss away my entire bankroll by going all in on the first game that looks good to me. Don't even get me started on the early MLB game. If the game is starting at 2:00 in the afternoon and the rest of them start at 6:30, well I'm just going to put the entire roll on the early game even if I can't decide on a winner, because I need that action.
Is anyone here actually disciplined?

Baseball is a game of series, 3 or 4 gamers. Look for angles and situations in regards to that instead of what you're doing. I can't go into detail because I can't. When you bet on sports long enough you start getting that feeling that some games in professional sports are just like WWE. If you're throwing it all one one game, don't. At least divide it up into say 4 bets. Stick with ML's -140 and lower. Run lines don't also work but if the game is higher than -140 and you really like it then take the run line. If you're having a great week or two, take a 2 day break and let things reset themselves. Because sooner than later that good run you're on will come back down to earth and will take everything you just made and then some

My problem is typical I analyze the card and bet 1 or 2 games. The games I bet lose and the 3,4, 5 games I also liked tend to win but I didn’t bet them.
so then I’ll have a day I bet 5-6 games and I’ll go 0-5, 0-6, 2-4 etc

So it’s a bad cycle. Leans I don’t bet win, if I take leans and actually bet them I lose.
I rarely parlay but did last night with a doyers angels parlay
once dodgers turned two to end game I knew I would lose angels. If I bet both separate tho that throw freeman scooped would have been not scooped and out of play for a game ending two run error. I truly believe that

Never heard of losing brining on a high but it sounds like an addiction to me

Pretty much dude...... Pretty much.
I'll push my financial means to the limits to where I'm barely scraping by until the next paycheck.

To answer the op's original question; extremely disciplined. Not so much so 25 - 30 years ago. I play no more than 3 games a day, some days none at all.

Like if all I have is $120 in my bank account knowing I need all of it, I'll use $20 for gas to get back and forth to work for the week and then I'll leave the $100 just sitting in there saying I won't use it to gamble, but eventually I'll end up succumbing and gamble that away too.
Then I'll promise myself that I won't gamble anymore and block websites, but when that paycheck comes right back around, I'll be right back to gambling again.
Sigh....

You’re closer than you think to breaking the cycle. Dont watch any sports, don’t engage in sport talk, remove anything that has to do with sports from your life and itll be easier to break the cycle
Removing anything that has to do with sports from my life is easier said than done because all of my coworkers talk about sports 24/7 and the money that they've won on parlays.

Last week I pawned a few of my things and put it all on Baltimore + 188 against the Yankees because I thought they were due. And they had it only to ckoke it away in the 8th.
I guess part of it is because I always get the worst of luck. No way that should have lost
