Arrighetti owes me money, as his only bad start, his last, cost me. He will get it back today vs Rodriguez, a poor substitute for a real starting pitcher. Both clubs have been hitting righty well, but the Astros with far more consistency. They are still in the playoff picture, while the Angels are only enjoying a run of good luck.

F5 – Astros -125 Arrighetti/Rodriguez

Probably due to Arrighetti's last performance and recent success of the Angels, but in a F5 matchup, starter vs starter, the Astros hold all the edges. Your money, your choice.

It's truly unbelievable that Jameson Tailon getting hurt ruined everything about my handicap last night.
In comes Assad, fresh from a AAA call up the day before, a true ground baller that the Giants obviously didn't prepare for.
The Giants are the best fly ball hitting team in the NL, and the 3rd worst ground ball hitting team in the NL.
Can't do anything about it
But since I'm here complaining, why stop now? I had 3 other 1st 5 inning bets that lost in the bottom of the 5th, 2 of them with 2 outs.
What are the chances?
Lastly, I'll be a broken record one more time. Gage Jump, this kid has "it". Love his pitching style. Kudos to the A's scouting him. He'll probably be a Yankee in 2 years when the A's offer of 600K per year with a lifetime supply of bazooka bubble gum just won't be enough to convince him to stay.

I don't know what to tell you anymore my friend, but no one has lost or pushed more F5 plays this year than me. Give up one in the fifth only to explode in the sixth, or something similar. It is the nature of the beast, we live with it, like it or not. No one notices or comments when your pick wins F5, and loses the game, because of your foresight. Groveling in misery and recapping the pain does no good. Everyone knows you are a knowledgeable handicapper and are doing your best. Hang in there. The only advice I would offer (take it for what it's worth), would be not to put so many eggs in one basket, as with the A's play. Choose the one advantage you feel strongest about, play it, and move on. Relax a little, sometimes less is more and good for the mind. You won't get it back all in one day. Patience, Peace.
