Have the best home record in the MLB with a potent offense and a decent pitching staff (marcum, greinke, gallardo, wolf) and k-rod to clean up.

I'm liking the Brewers at 12/1.

Marcum

Nice 1,2,3.  Lights out at home.  Good lineup. 
Axford, KRod, Hawkins, Saito.  Good bullpen.


Will probably play Braves in 1st round.  Will have home field advantage in that series.  Good value IMO.

When choosing the Giants you forgot to factor in that I played them to win the World Series 3 days ago (I know, you didn't have that info but you should've checked with me first)...Now that you have that info, buy out of your bet and go with your second choice. I won on Green Bay before the season started last yr when they were 12 to 1...I won on Auburn and the Under in the NCAA Championship...I won the Mavs vs the Lakers and Mavs vs Heat...I won on the Bruins series vs Vancouver and I can't spell Hakky...I did lose the Womens USA soccer final (heart wrenching loss). I have doubts in my ability to see the future because I'm usually wrong with future plays, although the last yr has been fun to take part in. I believe my luck will have to run out soon, and since I only made the play for the value and the way Timmy has been pitching, this could be the time my luck runs dry...Till that time tho, GO GIANTS!!! only a $100 play for me to win $1000...I'll be wrapped up in football when the series comes around, unless my Tigers find a magic carpet ride through the playoffs. GL everyone

If you're looking for "value", no better value than Atlanta. 

Everyone talks about the Phillies, but forget about the Braves.  With the addittion of Bourn and Costanza into the lineup, the offense has finally taken off without Jones and McCann.  When they come back, and with Uggla doing what he's doing, this offense is going to be dynamite. 

Their pitching staff, from top to bottom, is one of the best in baseball.  Their 7-8-9 relievers are the best in baseball - by far.  Have only allowed 1 ER (on Sunday) combined since mid-June.  Add in that Phillies "big 3" are 2-4 this year vs the Braves.  If it's a close game, then the Braves have the huge advantage with the bullpen.

Will Atlanta win it all?  Maybe, maybe not, but it's definitley good value to take 'em.

How about this though...

Marcum's Splits: 
Home: (5-1, 4.63 ERA, 1.22 WHIP)
Road: (5-2, 2.40 ERA, 1.02 WHIP)

Greinke's Splits:
Home: (7-0, 3.49 ERA, 1.04 WHIP)
Road: (3-4, 5.01 ERA, 1.33 WHIP)

Gallardo's Splits:
Home: (8-1, 2.92 ERA, 1.20 WHIP)
Road: (5-6, 4.14 ERA, 1.37 WHIP)

Make sure Gallardo and Greinke pitch games 1 and 2 at home in first round.  Have Marcum only start on the road.  They can definitely pull out any series with that staff and lineup.

I like it. Honestly, if I didn't fear their road splits so much, I love them as a sleeper pick.

That lineup produces runs and it just baffles me that they can't put it together on the road.

I've lost bets on them on the road and just wondered, "What the F just happened?" Things look good for awhile, then . . . collapse.

Papa, off topic but I want your opinion on this because I'm a newbie to WWE.

Is Cena/Punk really that great of a main event? The spent 2 hours on RAW talking about how it was. It was nauseating.

I watched Hulk Hogan VS The Rock from a WrestleMania last night and that has been the best match I've seen so far. I don't like watching the murky looking 1990's stuff. The video shooting takes away from watching the match.

I can't imagine Cena/Punk being at that level. The Triple H twist didn't do much for me, either.
