pucku i dont think the winner comes from the NL. but i would be happy if you are right. i would love to see milwaukee make a run

Atlanta Braves

- Bats are coming around.
- Found a gem in Constanza defensively, on the bases and at the plate.
- Adding Bourne at the top of the lineup and a defensive stud. Again, speed kills.
- Starting pitching is potentially lethal and the best bully in the game.
- And I just believe the NL wins the title this year.

I put $100 on them before the All-Star break at +1400.

I'm only asking for trouble by knocking out the New York Yankees so early. I apologize Yankee fans. I enjoy watching the Bronx Bombers, but they will need to rely on breakout pitching and/or run production to win it all. The Texas Rangers are in the same area as the Yankees for me.

The last team I want to see in the playoffs is the Angels. I don't think they catch the Rangers but if they do watch out for them.

No one wants to face Weaver/Haren/Santana in a 5/7 game series. Their offense is suspect but in the playoffs you can get away with that. Their D is sick especially with outfield speed. I just hope the Rangers keep them out of the playoffs.

I'm a Tigers fan but I don't hold much hope for the Tig's if they do make it. They may match up well with the Yanks but Boston would murder them.

Since realistically Detroit will start every series 1-0 with the way Verlander is pitching. Milwaukee just is unreal at home.

Best shot at happening Phillies vs Redsox
Phillies pitching is so good, the talk radio discussions around here are what to do with Vance Worley (8-1 2.76 era) as far as the playoff roster is concerned. I still think Detroit has a better shot from the AL but as a baseball fan I want to see the Phillies pitching vs the Redsox lineup.

I think Det will not do that well in the playoffs, Verlandr is going to throw 248-250 ip this year.... and then after that Tigers have nothing

years back an unreal Santana, the same story with the Twins

but anything can happen

very sad the money LAA spends and this is a team that cant score

Still want to let Pujols go?  Nice call on Stl winning it all. I think this solidifys Pujols acquring the largest contract in baseball history, from the Cardinals. They should give him part ownership and let him be Mayor. Freese just got dinner paid for the rest of his life in the city of Stl.
