nathan blew the save in game two of the series earlier in august, but it's hard to dismiss his numbers this season,  note that all three blown saves have been on the road this season.  still i would expect french like resistance in the bottom 9th by the home team.

the giants released him from fresno on july 9, and the mariners signed him to a minor league deal on july 10.  in case you didn't know, the mariners are very well known in mlb circles for their ability to evaluate talent.  note the trade we made in the off-season with the orioles.

I owe Randy Messenger a beer even though he tried to bury me with that throwing error.  Okay, Mariners, go ahead and lose, 2-1, so I can still make some decent money on this game, and more importantly, survive a night with money on you clowns.

mariners just might have a bullpen advantage here, corcoran and jiminez have been good at times and both can go 2 ininngs.
