the local bloggers in this market love beltre, i say you can find a slap hitting 3rd baseman who plays great defense for a lot less than 12 million.  especially one that his .222 with runners on, .200 with risp, and a stellar .159 with risp and 2 outs.

These announcers keep talking about the Cubs and their rotation w Zambrano at the top.  I would slot Zambrano 3rd behind Harden (if helathy) and Dempster in the playoffs.
