That depends on what exactly you mean.  Are you talking about what they've done in the last month?  Or this season?  Or their entire body of work?  Garland has pitched well against his former teammates twice now in the last week, but he's still nowhere near Dan Haren's level.

I agree with you 100% on Cincinnati. I looked for every reason known to man to fade Contreras at that ridiculous price today but came to the same conclusion as you did.
I also liked KC at nice + money today but DiNardo scared me away; along with a potential bounce back by Washburn and the Tigers' offense vs a lefty. Last time I faded the Tigers I lost the biggest bet of my life with Feldman getting ripped by Detroit 13-5. 
What does Feldman go on to do after that thumping??? 
Win 7 in a row, of course... 
1-0 KC as I type. Let's hope they get more than 1 (w/ bases loaded and no outs) this inning. I've got OV 9.5 +105.

I think the under is the play in this one bator.  Contreras is nowhere near as bad is his era might make you think.  He has shown flashed of brilliance this year and being in the NL might be just what the doctor ordered.  His k/bb over his last 5 is 21/7 for a 3:1 ratio.  His expected era if you translate to the NL is roughly 4.05.   Tulowitzki, Helton, Stewart, and Iannetta are all out today so their offense is roughly average today, if not slightly below average.  Reds offense is still pitiful and despite Wells ineptitude, they have some guys in the bullpen that can clean up the damage.  I think the price is about right on this game, rocks might have slight value, but the real value is on the under

Mr.Bator, you said the Steelers are going to lose tonight, yeah just like your Cleveland play worked out 10-0, you are a solid capper and I enjoy your write ups but you are DEAD wrong on the Steelers.

Even though the Indians lost 10-0 yesterday, and even though Toronto lost to the Yankees last Saturday, and even though the Patriots lost to the Giants in the Super Bowl, I'm still going with the Titans on the moneyline tonight.

Padres were 1-10 overall (having scored less than 3.5rpg) and 0-6 on the road trip being swept by Braves and losing 3 straight to Giants, coming in for the final game a day before the allstar break, and they still won 10-4 vs Zito.
 
 
Contreras shouldn't be -200 to anyone this year.
