Haven't been looking to good lately whats wrong !!!

Probably the last full week or so of full slate opportunities.

Late in the season and almost time to decide if some teams are giving up and experimenting.  

That coupled with MLB being the sport with the most variance and with the most swings makes it tougher this time of year.

 I think it is a valid question.  He only has 18 posts in 10 years.

So, I chose to take it as sincere question.

Because this time of year you will see a lot of teams that are eliminated and will do weird things.

You saw it in a few games yesterday where they bring in odd pitchers late etc. and give up meaningless runs, etc.

You will also see what is known as the 'September Effect' or 'tax season' where the juice starts to really go up on favorites.

All of these things can really turn a decent season into a not-so decent season. 

So, I thought even if he was not sincere, that it is a good question to answer for folks that might have the same question about this time of year.
