Actually QUINTANAs "bad outing" came to an abrupt end after only 3.1 ip (not a full 4 ip)
He allowed 9 on base and 5 ER in those 3.1 ip......after 8 consecutive starts without a bad outing....

But,
Flaherty's stats reveal he actually pitches BETTER - significantly BETTER - against lefties than righties, no?!
Also slightly BETTER in day games than night games! (or I could be wrong)
