Make no mistake, this dude and others I will identify in the future are GOOD starters - some of them exceptional! HOWEVER, probability says "consecutive streaks won't last long"...All GOOD pitchers will have an "off" day and get roughed up - sometimes mauled - before they resume their stellar pitching performances again. It happens to the best of them. Just CAN NOT be avoided.

So 2 starters on extended HOT STREAKS implode today....with only BURNES (O's) having another fine day to extend his streak of games WITHOUT a "bad outing".....but the odds of that happening INCREASE with each game so you've been warned!

L Oakland +150 ...value bet/coin-flipper game!
Washington +143 ...value bet/coin-flipper game!
Oakland has already lost it in a tie game to the bottom of the 9th, but I am hoping Washington wins so I can reap my profit!

So with these coin-flipper games/"value" bets I'm simply hoping to split the coin-flippers and profit from the PLUS MONEY on the one that wins!

On Sunday, I noted that I would have gone 5 - 2 if I had bet the unders which my capping had circled as good odds to win! But I backed off due to my confirmed LOSING RECORD betting unders...
Monday, I would have LOST both I had circled as good under bets.
Yesterday, my capping identified 6 games where an UNDER was clearly indicated. I stuck to my rule and did not bet any......They would have gone 5 - 1........sigh
That woulda been 10 - 5 the past 3 days! 
WEDNESDAY, I will not bet nor recommend these, but here is what my capping stats have identified as decent UNDER bets *IF* rounding up to a solid integer (no halves) even if that mean an alt-total/buying pts....
Texas game 9 ...woulda won the under!
Mets game 9 ...woulda LOST the under!
Rays game 8 ...woulda won the under!
Twins game 8 ...woulda won the under!
Brewskys game 8 ...woulda LOST the under!
Rockies game 11 ...woulda pushed
Angels game 9 ...woulda won the under!
= 4 - 2 and a push if I would have bet them
Four day total of missed opportunity: 14 - 7 unders hit
I won't bet my handicapped UNDERS 
.....BUT, if it might help someone else, while I am NOT recommending these per se, each of these has a SIGNIFICANT EDGE to stay under a solid integer (rounded UP and buying pts if necessary to get it)
Thursday's possible unders indicated by my stats, you might like:
METS game 8 (not 7.5!!!)
BOSOX game 8
BRAVES game 9 (not 8.5!!!)
Close call.....not a BAD total but it could be better...
My handicapping has the game circled at 7.0 runs.
If my capping is off by 2 runs (ie score lands on 9 runs) then under 8.5 is toast ..... but it would take me being off the mark by 3 full runs (ie score lands on 10 runs) to lose a bet on a solid integer of 9. It is an added cushion of safety (albeit higher juice, yes) Close call. BoL whatever you choose. Or pass if unsure. No harm in passing! Can't lose that way....
That said, remember, the reason I am NOT betting my handicapped unders is because I have a documented LOSING record when I bet them. Mind you, sure enough, as soon as I STOP betting them, they go on a 14 - 7 winning streak

But in my handicapping there is a complicating factor which I haven't posted just yet: Nationals starter, WILLIAMS, is currently riding a tenuous 10-game HOT STREAK. Caution flags go up!!
Tow HOT STREAK pitchers already blew up today: JONES and IMANAGA, although Burnes didn't implode and moves on.
Once HOT STREAKS get this long the risks go up.... Sorry.... I'm totally passing on that game....

When??? We can't know that for certain but my stats over many years indicate the time to start to worry is after they reach SEVEN (7) consecutive outings without a BAD one in that bunch (at any point in the season, not just from the start) Sure some HOT streaks may continue for 2 or 3 more performances....it happens! But for me, I don't need the stress that the bubble may burst that day. There's 14 other games to look at. I can simply skip those "HOT STREAK" dudes until *AFTER* their inevitable BAD outing beatdown, then resume looking at his starts after that!

Brewskys -118 ...I peg them at a +0.9 run edge due to a thin edge on the mound but what should be a solid edge at the plate
Mariners -136 ...this line might come down a bit more but I don't want to put it off then forget to bet it on a busy day. Ordinarily I would think Astros *should* have the Mariners outgunned at the plate, but ASTROS may be in a scoring slump as the Mariners have won 3 straight: 3 - 2; 4 - 2; and 2 - 1. While Mariners home rpg is true to the mark, the ASTROS road rpg is misleading because they are in what is playing as a pitcher's park! And unless GILBERT implodes on the mound (possible but unlikely) the starter matchup between him and Arrighetti is a one-sided mismatch, imho....
Leaning to Royals but I need higher PLUS MONEY or no bet.
Don't know the SP in the Oak/TB game yet....
