Fubah, what are you recovering from? I can think of a few surgeries that require pills for at least a year, but am not gonna guess. I apologize for not seeing your posts talking about this, because i consider you a Good Friend here and am mad i didnt notice this until just now
Well 1-1 again with over ump plays. Damn dodgers pick today to crap the bed and only score 1 run. Now 2-2 for the week. Least we got that philly total.
No over ump plays for thursday.
heres the other ump plays, maybe you can sniff out something from these ones
ump in philly has home team bias at 11-4 and ump in tampa game favors road teams at 9-3
atlanta has a 11-4 under ump and seattle has an 8-3 under ump
so philly, tampa, atlanta under and seattle under.

Heart "procedure" (but not open heart surgery) to open up a 99% blocked heart artery which was a branch from an 80% blocked artery! They push a thin catheter up the length of my right arm (from wrist into the heart) to insert a "stent" (miniscule device like a tube to open both pathways) The colored dye they squirt into the heart revealed via xray that 100% of my heart was being affected even though I have never felt any heart pain in my life (angina)....just occasional weird heart beats that I had mentioned to my family doctor. Since my LDL level (bad cholesterol circulating in blood) was higher than he preferred to see he sent me to a Cardiologist....did a treadmill test....and the Cardiologist looked shocked and said I needed to check into a hospital "YESTERDAY!!" IOW, I was an imminent heart attack waiting to happenbut I got lucky. After the procedure only 48% of my heart is currently affected but that's TOO MUCH and I still have two separate heart arteries of serious concern (70% blockage and 60%) so I need to return soon. Now I'm on 4 different heart/blood drugs plus one for BPH and Type-2 D.

I've been tall & slender dude all my life (gained pot belly during covid but that isn't the issue) The plaque (waxy/fatty substance) that builds up over years on the inside lining of your arterial blood vessels (which will remain there PERMANENTLY!) can be caused by multiple factors.....but for the majority, the two WORST culprits are bad diet and lack of exercise. I studied and got my degree for Exercise Physiology so I supposedly knew this shit! But while I was always physically active (a good thing!) I ate "junk food" all my life and all the time without a second thought! Pepsi, pizza, McDonalds/Wendys/KFC, donuts, cookies, pastries, tasty breakfast cereals, WHITE BREADS & other starchy foods, processed meats, candy bars, fried foods, hotdogs, Doritos, anything sweet or salty - you name it - I indulged. And like a dumbass fool I made the mistake of thinking that because I was active and always remained slender those "junk foods" weren't affecting me. I was immune!
WRONG!!! And it might have been a fatal error!
Particularly from "bad diet," LDL (bad cholesterol) continues to silently build up and form plaque inside our arterial walls and constricting blood flow. Once there it can't be removed! Fellas, if YOU are overweight, or a smoker, or lack aerobic exercise, or have high BP, or the worst of the WORST: fond of "bad diet foods" (review my list above!) you should get checked ASAP. Now I'm on a bunch of prescription drugs.....and they aren't cheap!

I got lucky. So I could lose my ass today betting MLB and y'know what? ....it's all good; no biggie!

1002%
My Father has been going thru similar challenges... He had a minor Heart Attack that could have been avoided with a yearly check up... His blockage was in the "Widow Maker" Artery & Valve... Good thing is.. After the Stint... He has alll of this crazy energy that had been lacking... that he assumed was caused by age. Now he goes to the Gym & walks instead of carting on the Golf Course daily... And has dropped 50 LBS... And he really wasn't was most people consider a Fat Man.
I dont know you but have been praying for a similar recovery for yourself... and i am most certainly no jesus freak lol...
Thank You King Fubah! LFG!!
BTW Covers Brothers... If You Are Over 40 or Overweight without exercise... Go get your Heart checked and a Colonoscopy.

I’m living in Parker, CO for the summer - caddying at Colorado Golf club. Cool that you’re close by!
Thanks for sharing all your heart issues.. I’m very active, but lazy in the kitchen & like the convenience of fast food. Appreciate you sharing all that, you’re a class act!

AWESOME for your Dad! (and you indirectly)
POOR diet is the #1 main culprit for arterial plaque which narrow the arteries surrounding the heart, leading to heart attack. I encourage everyone to Google and do some reading on "plaque" and "LDL Cholesterol" then check various links to learn what foods are a huge menace creating the problem! Could save your life...
I microwave a bowl of steel cut oatmeal every day now and it's not bad with some berries or chopped banana added on top. It doesn't cleanse the arteries (NOTHING DOES!) but it helps significantly - more than almost any other common food - to cleanse the blood from adding more LDL into those already damaged arteries, as long as I am also avoiding the crap foods. Sugar/syrups, sweet junk foods, white flour, processed meats and tasty cereals are now all down in my trash bin where they belong...
Also, regular daily exercise (walking at brisk pace or light jog or cycling) helps SIGNIFICANTLY to raise "HDL" levels - think Helpful cholesterol - which actually LOWERS the LDL circulating in your blood!
