SP Aaron NOLA (Phillies) used to be a VERY GOOD pitcher....for 10 years with Philly.
Then last year his WHIP and ERA ballooned upward to very mediocre at best and this year even WORSE! 
His last 3 outings have been BAD performances! 
...albeit vs GOOD bats.
But he used to pitch well against GOOD teams! Not this year. Something missing. Marlins aren't as good as Cubs and Braves but apparently NOLA is sub-par as well. I expect he will perform BETTER tonight. Yep, surely! But he's hardly an "ace" and will the results follow a somewhat improved performance??

Tonight they are at HOME again but will not face a GOOD team...they face the METS - who have the 5th WORST offense over the past 15 days and will follow their first inning starter with a Lefty bulk reliever (Peterson) with POOR stats and who is not exactly backed by a sterling BP.
He's pitched at least 3.1 innings in 7 appearances (albeit vs collective decent offenses) but in those games the Mighty Mets gave up:

He should perform better tonight vs a ROCKIES offense that is weaker when facing Lefties.
Rockies have been averaging around 4.8 rpg...

Apparently his just diagnose problem could likely keep him OUT until after ASB.
Thus, since my bets are "listed pitchers at the time of my post" the bets I made/posted on Detroit (Skubal) game are OFF

Well it's a shame for Skubal and Detroit. He was adamant he was good to go today but his elbow locked on him and that raised alarm bells immediately. TIGGERS going with a BP session today. According to Roto, likely to be RP Holton followed by a AAA call up who is mediocre at best! TIGGERS do not have a good BP. This shouldn't affect their offense though and this may now be a high scoring affair!

Dodgers in a funk at the plate and it is HAZARDOUS to bet on them (or against them!) until *AFTER* they emerge from their current batting slump...
Slugger OHTANI (LAD) is in a funk.....over last 10 games he missed getting any hit in 7 of those 10.
Just 7 for 37......his key numbers have dropped significantly since April 19...

I had suspected he *would* go so I grabbed the BRESKIES on the overnight line for cheap, but figured he would shift to DH....but he's slotted in at 2nd...so we shall see if he holds in there and makes more magic to help PATRICK get a win...
