Florian really? whats your reasoning for the lean just curious?

off the top of my head; its just a lean for now but i love guys that drop weight classes, and don't really like guys that move up in weight classes.(should have stuck to my rule with the grant-roller fight on the weekend) florian has been around for awhile and has that experience edge.  he has top level striking ability, solid jitz and a better wrestler then aldo. height and reach advantage. hominick showed that aldo can be beaten in that 5th round with some good gnp.

I haven't made a decision yet, on that fight. Aldo is awesome, no denying. Florian has choked in the big fights in the past, for sure.

But... Florian will be huge for 45. he is very well rounded. I don't think he will get rolled over. And he may be able to control the fight. Just my opionion off the top of my head

If Florian does the traditional Tri-Star Gym game planning by grappling Also first to tire out his muscles and produce lactic acid that can slow down Aldo. But Aldo's speed and accuracy will be too much. Florian has tremendous Jiu-Jitsu by way of being a Barra Gracie Black Belt, but Aldo's Jitz is world class. You don't win the WORLDS by just being okay. ALDO by TKO stoppage.

sounds good, i'm most likely not even gonna touch the fight even on a parlay. the more i think about this fight i do like aldo chances though

kenny has good jitz aldo supposedly has has great jitz, that pretty muich means they cancel each other out.  i hate over stating this but it true " jitz goes out the window once you get punched in your face" mark hominick had jose on his back the whole 5th round. where was aldo's world class jitz then ? especially against a lesser jiujitsu player in mark hominick. kenny has knives for elbows and could easily open a cut on aldo and win via doctor stoppage also.

sounds like an excuse i know but what i read about aldo/hominick was aldo had an absolute brutal weight cut due to putting on more muscle mass while training....so brutal that he almost gave up on the last pound or 2.....but as we know he still actually made the weight and i feel confident in assuming this was the reason for aldo gassing as badly as he did.....if u like kenny gl....this fight seems alot like flo/penn to me personally

you mind discussing your lean on Maynard, I see him showing up for the biggest fight of his career but Frankie is a very smart fighter and knows how to score big with the judges.

in some ppl's eyes he is already 2 -0 vs frankie, gray's got the size, strength and wrestling ability to win. edgar's already thinking about dropping weight classes which would be his best move if he does lose ( similar thinking to chuck and hughes talking about retirement b4 their careers were officially over) frankie could use his speed and could win if he continues his stick and move strategy, but i see gray not gassing like he did in the 2nd fight after that first round, and closing the distance and using his wrestling and dirty boxing even more to take this one.

maia improved striking is still horrible and has no power, if i'm gonna bet on this fight i'd go with santiago member of the newly formed blackzillians

cantwell look like shit against diabate ... and massenzio can only grapple... not touching this

beltran vs miocic can go either way,beltran via ko/tko or miocic via LNP .... not touching it

might not touch the stann vs sonnen fight either; i like sonnen in the fight but damn stann's striking is sick i could see him ko/tko sonnen easily

Sic standup and good sub skills. I like Sonnen to win, but I could see it ending the same way it did with Spider. Sonnen never really damages from the top. He slaps. Marquart beat him up from his back more than he did from top, but you get the points for control. So a sub is possible, even if he is on his back.

If I weren't a bettin man, I love to see Stann take it. But I am, so I'm eatin some chalk and taking Sonnen!

i see that all you cappers are on garcia

phan impressed me immensely is his last match against mike brown and i thought he won at least 2 of the 3 rounds in their last meeting maybe even all three ... anyways I LOVE Phan in this one, his boxing is so crisp , i expect a win via tko
