Clean up your Contests

i agree. however, the consensus, whether all, 10% or team experts should only include those with positive bankrolls, you can still make picks but they dont count towards the consensus. dont we all want the
best picks and not these system bettors who lay 500 bets on the dogs every week. if you look at each team expert on line many if not 90% are historic and current losers. so what is the point then of having the data, if it is flawed. i dont care if the 10% only includes 10 people as long as they are winners. or how about a category instead of team experts, you just make it winning percentage overall. just a thought.

i have read all the post, i just dont know why u have to have a bankroll. what is the point, winners are positve and losers are not. if i can get a screen which only includes winners overall in the sport i am betting currently, then i could wittle down the time it takes to handicap 143 basketball games.  exclude those who are in these tourneys, who give a garbage if u get a shirt. i am  betting a dollar on a game and would like accurate information to help me decide.  the one site that did have that option was the big guy. but sadly it is now gone, in addtional to their data base.

I agree with your post because it's logical.  The contests encourage mass picking and I'm forced to play that way in order to try and win prizes.  I believe I finished 8th last year in their NHL contest and it was funny because I don't even watch hockey nearly as much compared to the other sports.  I did get more selective as the season got near the end, though.  I also won in the NFL playoff contest this year by total luck one week and winning a hat I don't need.  I wish the prizes would be hoodies and not hats but I guess that'd cost them more money.

But yeah, I would change my methods completely if they changed the structure of their contests.

You  have an excellent point there.  Let's see just how good we are. I like the so much a day idea. It would cause a little more handicapping to go into it. 

I got 4th wnba, im 44th this year i placed 4th on arena last year, im 10th in mlb right now. Its tough to keep up. but eh its fun.

Set up your own contest and run it as you see fit and bring your bankroll to back it!!!!...Should leave other peoples creations alone..especially one that has been around this long!
