So #1 Jimbo Fallon was the Baffert colt who was supposed to work with Baffert's Kentucky Derby colt Mor Spirit but Martin Garcia didn't show up & David Lopez got the mount. This is what caused the Baffert/Garcia split.

This colt is owned by Baffert's wife Natalie & is now trained by D. Wayne Lukas & Robby Alvarado up. Was the beaten favorite in his last in a tough race; he has a 2nd & 3rd @ Churchill.

He will be the chalk again in a tough race & definitely vulnerable to #2, 3, 6 & 7. I mentioned Jimbo Fallon because of the sub plot with the ownership & trainer change to his long time buddy Lukas.

Not sure if this is a race play for me but it will be fun to watch.

I'm not in denial. Cat in the Nile was not at all impressive. But Dee Dee Birdie looked like a winner gate to wire but tired down the lane to finish 4th.

Got one more bullet...

I just read  phil's thread about the stakes racing this weekend & noticed that Jimbo Fallon is in the 3rd race @ Big Sandy & is back being trained by Bob Baffert not D.Wayne Lukas.

He hung on to win his last but check out Shugs colt #4 Promote. Watch the replay of his MSW win. Impressive....
