I was capping some college football & came across this info.
#1 Jack's Snipe ML 3-1 comes from the Scherer barn & he also owns this 2 yr old gelding. Scherer has won both of his 2yr old races with similar stock but this one is supposed to be working better than either of them. He goes back to jock Nik Goodwin who was on both of his other winners mentioned.
I've never bet Canterbury & know very little else about the trainer/jock combo. Just passing on the info. Both of his winners took early tote action, so that is something else to watch for on Friday as well.
I'll take a shot with an inexpensive ex & DD wheel. BOL to all.

Just capped the race. Jock Goodwin gets off the ML favorite #4 He's Munnie to ride #1 Jack's Snipe. Seems like the favorite tires at the race distance of 5.5F which is a ticket burner. I think the other firster #7 Kit Check has a shot. The other 4 in the race have never been close. There's not much to beat in here.
