Worst Sports Talk Radio Show?

 

 

My Vote: Boomer & Carton Morning Show on 660 WFAN

 

 

The show is a joke. All they talk about is nonsense. Barely any type of input. Talk about only three (3) teams, METS, JETS and Giants.

 

 

Carton is a joke. Knows nothing about sports.

 

Only reason the show is still on the air is because of Boomer’s media connections to the NFL. Show is a total bust!

Jim Rome all those clones spend half their day writing down what they want to say then read it on the air.

although there are hundreds of radio shows none of us get to hear because they arent in our area.
 
BOomer and carton are a funny cast. I agree its not a true sports media thing, but they arent supposed to be that. I do catch myself laughing at lot when I put them on though. It just comes down to what do you want to hear, 2 guys really debating sports or more of a "show" with sports involved...

Rome's show is the same schtick now over and over and over and over... can't listen to those same audio bits all day.

Tuxman Cruscrnshw . . .I agree , ,Jim Rome’s rant and raves are nonsense .  .I love when he calls golf a non-sport . . .and when he says soccer is a boring game!!!!!

 

 

Don’t get me wrong . . Boomer and Carton are funny . .but its more like a morning Zoo show . . .I guess I had high expectations for the show . .  

 

 

I guess I have to wait till for 10AM for my man Joe B. hahaha

 

Sorry if you guys don’t use the WFAN podcast or live in NYC . . .guys wouldn’t know about the show!

mike greenburg is the worst.  mike and mike are great when Erik Kusselius is on with Golic.

Mike and Mike - I'd rather shove a fork under my toenails than listen to those windbags.
 
I don't know this guys full name but his first name is Andy and he is on ESPN radio.  He's like a cross between Steven A Smith and Tony Kornholer.  Annoying voice and always yelling.

Have never listened to Boomer and Carton. Is this the same Boomer from ESPN? If so, forget it. Dude is ultra annoying. But Mike and Mike are the King of people.

Nationally, I don't like Cowherd.  He is know-it-all who thinks he is always right, but that is mostly because he backs every dog in the race.  He called for both the Cubs and Dodgers to win the series within 10 minutes.

Rome is OK, but he is more comedy than Sports, although he is a very good interviewer and he gets a ton of sports stars on his show.

I never use to like Mel Kiper, but his show on the weekend is actually pretty good, IMO.

Locally, Buffalo must have the worst Sports Talk in the country, unless you like random nonsense and an hour devoted to Reality TV shows.  They have almost never mentioned College football, any kind of basketball, or MLB.  They bashed Marv Levy disgracefully even when it was obvious he rebuilt the team.

Rome, by far the worst.
 
I've said this before, but if this guy (Rome) was in a bar spouting his crap and talking the way he does - how long before he'd get knocked the fuck out?  I'd say in about 3 minutes. 
 
That's what kills me about guys like him and other radio and tv guys (like some of those political windbags), they hide behind the tv screen, computer screen, newspaper and radio waves.

Ive been on Carton and Boomer. I LOVE that show. I never miss it and if I do im pissed.

Although I listen to him I cant fucking stand Francesca.How many times a day do I need to hear him brag about knowing sports players. How fucking impressive.

I hate ESPN Radio and Jim Rome.

I love Fox Sports Radio, especially whenever Chris Landry is on.  Ben Maller is the shit too.

Mike and Mike is god awful and i agree with who ever said Mike and Mike is better with Kusselius or Michael Smith or Trey Wingo or Buster Olney or anyone but Greenie.  I live in philly and now i have to choose between M & M and WIP with angelo Cataldi who is beyond awful.  I used to listen to the Kornheiser show on podcast before the herd at work, no i listen to M & M, but god i fuckign hate it.
