It is said that dinos were wiped out by a catastrophic asteroid impact at Chicxulub, Mexico some 65 million years ago. Look at the Asteroid Belt between Mars and Jupiter, plenty of big fat damm rocks hanging out there in the space are waiting to kick our butts some time in the future.
