Some poor stupid fXckers are robbing a house so they deserve to die?
There’s a big difference between thinking someone deserves to die for breaking into your house and not wanting to risk your life and your family’s life that a criminal in your house is only there to steal your stuff and won’t hurt anyone.
If I got the drop on someone I’d give him a chance to surrender. However, if he made any sudden movements I’d end him without hesitation and I’d be well within my rights to do so. I’m not risking my life and my family’s life in order to do everything I can to protect a criminal that just broke into my house.

Madden, you seem to think that you have to bash someone’s country multiple times before they are allowed to comment on it. I hate to break it to you, but that’s not the case. Not even if you command them not to as you did earlier.
You bi+ching about me arguing in this thread is like you standing in the middle of a strip club calling me a pervert for being in the strip club. Your hypocrisy knows no bounds.
I find it amusing how you keep claiming I started this when you made that comment before I even made my first post in this thread.
Reread (or probably just “read”) post #80.

When you trash something and proclaim that it is f**ked up, yeah, I’d consider that bashing.
Yes, there are plenty of far-left zealots here that trash their country. They are the same people that can name dozens of countries they think are far better than the US yet for some reason they remain living in the states. Hmm…
However you are right about there not being many countries that give their citizens as many freedoms as the US.

If there is a lack of positive stories about gun use, perhaps bad events outnumber good events?
American vigilantes believe violence is a solution to problems. Whereas in other countries, people are more likely to turn to the law for help. According to Pinker's book, this difference may be caused by premature freedom in the US. Other countries became more civilized before gaining independence.

Turn to the law for help? With a police response time of over 5 minutes pretty much the only things cops are good for in a home invasion situation is to take a report afterwards, draw a chalk line around the bodies, and investigate the crime. A lot of good that does the victims. ![]()
So before they waged war against a superior force the colonies should have taken the time to “become more civilized before gaining independence”? ![]()
