From my understanding, everyone on Covers is a professional gambler, even on losing days guys are still up tens of thousands, and everyone here is well adjusted to life and overall happy people.
Occasionally you'll come across a thread that's a real downer, like this one, because it's so honest. I mean really, dogunder, who the hell do you think you are to damper the mood like this with all this truthfulness?
I only want to read threads about how amazing everyone's doing, excessive wagers with fake tickets to prove it, and any other bullshit that comes to mind like high powered careers and inside information.

LOL at "I just had a payout less than a month ago"
WOW
Ive gotten a hundred payouts
Guess what it means, nothing
Listen up Lottery Scratching sucker
My payouts are substantial and the ONLY time I make a deposit is AFTER I receive my payouts.
I only bet sports not 5000 hours of black jack or any other BS casino games. I started doing this because i got sick and tired of watching games and verbally predicting the outcome in front of everyone and not getting shit for it.
As a real sports bettor you are leaving less to chance and making more of an informed decision.
There has been plenty of opportunities in this years NBA I have taken advantage of. I believe you have to have an angle and do your homework. In the long run if you focus this should be profitable if you can control your jackass scratcher addiction.
Sports wagering is all I bet risk wager or fuck with and I make paper. No MLB

Here is a thread from last week 4-0 with my play of the year in NBA cashing. I also have another 7-0 I can find from a few weeks ago. These are all posted with some documented couple hundred dollar wagers well in advance of start time.
you just can't comprehend someone winning can you?

Sportsbetting is crazy, I only do it because I LOVE sports and have to have money on the game to make it exciting. What also keeps my coming back is the fact that when I like a line and don't wager on it, I hit like 65%. When I do wager on it I hit like 52% range.
Most of my roll comes from playing poker, which is an easier way to make money if you really know what you are doing. There is luck involved, but you have much more of a say in the outcome than when you bet on some random team from a non-power conference. Couldn't fathom ever trying to solely wager on sports for your income. Its insane to put your life into something unless you know the mindset of every athlete from every game you bet on.
My only advice to you is to truly want to change, and think out what you are doing before you do it. That impulse shit will kill you and your bankroll. GL

I know a guy who's worth over 350 million dollars, no bullshit. He bets 10k a game and is terrible. Last football season he lost in the neighborhood of $500,000 on NFL alone. He puts absolutely no research into his plays, usually has some cockamamie reason for making a wager and wants no advice from anyone. With that same sentiment, that's how he became so rich, buying and selling production companies.
I remember him putting 15k on the Ravens at Seattle last November, I was talking to him during the game, we were at a family gathering and he kept checking his phone for the score. I had about $200 on the Seahawks moneyline and they won straight up. When he saw the score he was shocked that the Seahawks could beat the Ravens straight up but didn't seem to care about the 15k he lost.
I remember going into the bathroom, looking in the mirror and telling myself I had to convince this guy to take some of my plays, he couldn't do any worse, and if he won, maybe he'd break me off.
My delusions went even further, and I imagined meeting him for breakfast at his mansion in Bel Air on Sunday mornings to go over plays, I would show up in a suit and tie with a briefcase, we'd drink coffee and win money together.
I went downstairs full of hope and optimism and suggested that he take some of my plays, being that I just won a "sharp" bet that he was on the other side of.
He looked at me like I was out of my fucking mind. Which I partly was. He put the phone away and said he was done for the day, but I saw him later calling in a bet for the Sunday night game, he took the Patriots at the Jets and won it back.

I think the point of this thread is that we're all losers in the end. Even if you win money, the amount of time and energy it takes to make a substantial amount to feel "rich" isn't worth it. You'd make more in a career in less time.
