Bad things happen every 7 years. 2000 and 2001 we had nasdaq collapse and 9/11. Then 7 years later we had the financial collapse. Now here we are 7 years later. It's time again. It's called Shemitah. Interesting videos. This patter has been happening for a long time. Even the great depression and the 1987 crash happened on Shemitah days. Check this out.

I watched the Shemitah films but not sure I buy into it other than the fact that these Wall Street Weasels manipulate the Stock Market any which way they please to suit their needs.
Anybody that has money in the markets is a fool. Learned that lesson the hard way in '08. Converted to Gold investments and been waiting for four years now to cash in. This time I won't miss my chance.
Back in August of 2001 I liquidated a $100,000 Mutual Fund. Just chit luck on the timing. I waited three weeks for the check and thought it was lost in the Sept 11th fiasco because it was coming out of NYC.
I got the check in the mail Sept 12th.

I agree Goose with you that anyone with money in this market is crazy. Way overvalued with way much more risk than reward. Well as for the 7 year thing, it's a fact. Something happens every 7 years. Not just the past 21 years but we are talking 100 years. Good move getting your money in 2001

Currency reset?
No way...
What will we reset to, a manipulated communist Yuan, a QE recession ridden Euro?
I was watching this last week the McClellan indicator guy saying he thought the top was in last week, from a historic perspective his indicators said the top was in..
Who knows, the reality probably is that the market is trying to force Yellen to back off and do what it wants, this has happened so many times I never think it sticks.
Probably Yellen comes out next week and makes some dovish comment and the market rallies 400 pts.

This isnt a correction at all, its a blip. A correction is below 10k, not some 8% drop off historic highs.

Yeah Walls, I bet Yellen says something that's total BS and the market will rally. She does it every time. But I think there is more going on here than most people know. Something big. I think it's currency related. Maybe US reserve currency status at stake. You can't be a nation that has the worlds reserve currency and be in debt 18 trillion. We shall see. But in September I think something big gonna happen.

Nobody lost half their 401k in a week. Wall Street not manipulating this market to do this. And correction is not a 44% drop. They have another name for that. Bad things happen every 2 years. Every 3 years Every year in fact. Sure you can find bad things in 7s. You can do a study to find bad things in 5s also.
