Are you as big a night owl as me, or are you out West. I thought you were East.
So, right now , right now?
Fine with me, but confirm, so I don't wake wife up. You're married, right?
i take one 10mg percocent (the yellow banana shaped one) each night at about 9pm. I feel great for about 3 hours which is nice, but the real benefit is, once it wears off at about 1am, i sleep so well, im talking sleep for 8 hours without interruption, and feeling great in the morning. I know this is a weird use for that type of pill, but it works for me. I dont crave or desire them at all from the time i wake up until 9pm, and i function all day just fine. Nor has my tolerance gone higher than needing just that 1 pill per day. Furthermore, Ive ran out and had to go a week without anything, and aside from not sleeping as well, i had no withdrawal or detox symptoms at all. Just what Id call a slight craving for one at 9pm each night.

I guess Ive been lucky in that I never got into that typical painkiller addict habit of waking up and taking some, then taking more 4 hours later when those wear off, etc etc. Ive got friends who do that, and the problems it causes them are numerous. From running out and suffering severe withdrawal to the cost of maintaning the habit, to increased tolerance, Ive seen the worst of what painkillers can do to a persons life and the lives of their families. I know a girl who needs 30 percs a day to function and hasnt missed a day of that in almost 3 years. Now i know someone earlier in this thread said a dcotor told him these cause no harm to livers or kidneys, but i have to believe that 30 a day is damaging somehting in there.

they say one joint is the equivalent of 20 cigarettes when it comes to health dangers and cancer risks associated with smoking. thats pretty bad.

SPITFIRE...the good old want to quit i see it all the time and have seen some successors...they do it cold turkey and pound seeds, gum, altoids, jolly ranchers, the whole 9 yards all fucking day. the first few weeks are miserable, but after that its just change of habit.
cigs are for losers now, young idiots.... we know well enough to stop them.
being that you go green it should be so much easier to stop cigs, you are gettin the smoke and a better result
just stop the cigs its all mental

I'm up to 12 days
I wasn't a pack-a-day smoker but I smoked my share, and I never feel any physical effects of addiction. My attempts to quit failed because I have so many enablers around me smoking my favorite cigarette and in the different *cough* 'moods' I experience sometimes cigs just go hand in hand, you feel good so you don't care about the lowly health effects of a single cig. If anything my palms sweat a lot now but I have enough stress in my life that not having a cig isnt really a concern.
Kid Rio - that would be coke. A fucking awful drug that people don't take seriously because it doesn't really fuck you up at all when your on it so people think it doesn't do much to them physically. Fuck coke, never do it. Pretend its heroin.

I'm with ya, feeling great the last 6 months-ish, just eating better and exercising more, taking daily vitamins etc.
But I never said anything about quitting opiates! Vic's are at the bottom of my pill list though, I've never seen anything more than 7.5's around here and they have way too much tylenol. If you do a lot of them you should probably go back on the fried junk food and drop the vicodin habit.
