Ok, I don't smoke and I fucking hate smelling like it when I'm at a place that allows it. But, I think the kid did nothing wrong here. He wasn't breaking any casino policies, so why should he feel bad? If you ask me, the lady was probably being a little cunty. If I was in her shoes, I would've kept my yapper shut or gone to a different table.

bingo....I don't smoke and the smell is nasty to me, but when I go to the casino ya deal with it, its there. I would never tell someone to stop smoking out of "respect" for me, that lady was a bitch.

Still can't understand why people smoke. "Here inhale this stick made of tar, fill your lungs with smoke and blow it into the air. It will turn your teeth yellow, make your clothes smell and make people not want to be around you. Oh yeah, and it can also give you cancer and will cost as much as a cheap car payment a month."

I don't smoke, but I also can't argue with a person who smokes in a smoking facility....if they are doing their best to be considerate. A person makes as conscious effort to go to a smoking casino then they know up front they may have to deal with second hand smoke. If you don't like it, give your business to someone else.
I'm all for being considerate, but this person made a deliberate choice to go to that casino.
So what if I go to a bar where a band is playing? Do I have the right to tell the bar owner that the music is hurting my ears and to stop the band from playing because I'm entitled to peace and quiet out of respect? 
The casino has chosen to allow smoking....they made a choice in terms of how they run the business. You're free to make a CHOICE not to go there if you like. There is plenty of free smoke free air in other facilities I'm sure....or outside for that matter.

As a gambler... someone choosing to smoke at a smoking table in a Casino (see wikipedia under... last place on Earth to allow smoking) does not bother me near as much as someone pissing away their money with poor playing....
If it bothers you so much go to a non-smoking table or respectfully don't go to a place known for its smoky air.

And it helps if both the smoker and the person who is bothered by it aren't both assholes. If I was smoking and it looked like it was bothering someone, I'd say, "sorry if this bothers you, but I purposely chose this table because I smoke and it is allowed here. If it does bother you, I know they have other tables that are non-smoking."
Obviously, the smoker went out of their way to follow the rules and go to a table where smoking was allowed. Perhaps the non-smoker might consider doing the same.
