That's a big part of the GOP's problem. 1) There are plenty of moderate conservatives in this country who don't want to vote for a party that aligns itself with any religious affiliation. 2) There are a shitload of people in this country who don't share the same so called 'values' as the GOP. Anyone who looks to a politician for values is either being duped or is an idiot.

I agree 100%. Who the hell are these idiots? This is the best we have? Doesn't make much sense to me. I'd rather pay a great President 5,000,000.00 per year than 400k(or whatever it is) for a shitty one.

Our best do not run for President and i'm not sure why.

The money isn't the problem though imho. Right a book ... boom set for life.

I have no idea why the candidates are so weak and why common sense is so hard to find.

I agree they need more people running but no one has said anything about my "black card" thats the only reason obama won in the first plact. It was the largest turnout ever for african americans so he will prob win again just because of that and when he is gone there vote will be gone. We just have to wait 4 more years which sux

I still think that common people should be president, they should have top advisors to present the info to them and then make decisions for the good of the majority.

I no a lot of people like you crashdavis, but sad part is we cant do anything about. So many people "thought about change" and loved it but nothing has happen that he said would. Watch all the sudden before next election the troops will all the sudden come back, he will be anti-war again and say he is helping our economy when in reality he had 4 years and just now he is going to do it?...How bout obamacare? he has had 4 years but watch when election time comes around he will pass it to "show" people that HE did it...blahblahblah

the press have their talking points handed to them by the administration currently.  a lady at cbs was covering the gun running scandal that the presidents atty general ordered and is covering up.  she has been sworn at and threatened for just reporting that this is an issue.

so if you think our president can do a better job than whoever the other guy is......then vote that way.  crazy how it all works.  i personally would vote for a lump of shit before i voted for obama and as it turns out i might have to.

this is so true and really the reason for the post. I candidly admit I was fooled by Obama. Now, I will have to vote for a lump of shit. That is why I want the Republicans to get off their asses and get a real candidate, not a lump of shit.
This should not even be a choice but it is going to be close....

there is no discernible difference between gingrich, romney and obama...except where the special interest favors will be granted

include bachmann and santorum in that as well

paul/johnson 12 - i would like to see them both on the same ticket as independents. the GOP would implode and it would make the 19% perot got in 92 look like nothing

I feel this is honest, I'd say about 1/20 people actually vote for someone because of policies, the other 19 care more about the kardashians, I'm 25 i remember from last election just how much OB's coolness played a part with my friend, Obama became a trend, I don't think MC Palin would have been any better. when Obama doesn't have experience the right cry that hes not quantified by Cain had zero experience and the right swore it was a great thing- its BS from both sides, Obama could have the cure for cancer and the house would not pass it. Regardless of your party affiliation, anyone accepting any type of public assistance and not paying taxes should not be allowed to vote. It leads to socialism. According to the Constitution, we don't have the right to vote for the office of President anyway. That task is left to our state reps. I know one thing, if Obama is reelected, you may as well get ready for the end of the US as we know it. The Country will be bankrupt and no one will have anything, except for those with gold and silver and other precious metals.
