Lusting for females is definitely not the Christian way...why don't you open the King James and see what it says about lust. Just go to Colossians 3:5 and read it brother.

Heathen is just a word to describe people who do not believe in God or another word for non-believers...certainly I can't refer to them as believers or Christians.

When did I ever say anything about enemies and that I don't love them? I love everybody which includes the heathens. I come here hoping to make them believers because I love them and care about them. I don't hate, I just feel sorry for them right now and I certainly don't hate you but I just wish you tone down the things you say because earlier like I said I really don't know where you stand with the things you say.

The bible is one of, if not, the greatest books ever written because it provides countless lessons on life. However, the fact that so many take it as dogma instead of what is is, lessons on life, makes so many so dangerous.

I was scanning the direct TV guide the other night and seen where Jim Baker indeed was still pushing his wears on a series. I could not resist and had to watch a few minutes.  If what he and his cronies were saying was not so sad, it would have been funnuy. He was selling "survival kits" of bottled water, canned goods and a few other things that were ("annointed" for the mere price of $1000 dollars (thats ONE THOUSAND). If you doubt me, take 5 minutes to watch one of his shows. Granted he is only affecting the few morons that fall for his stuff, but to believe a woman had a child while a virgin, said child rose from his death 3 days later is a fairy tale. Sorry, I lost my brain washed beliefs several years ago once I started looking for myself. It is amazing the things that can be called cults when the biggest are right under our noses.

Jesus' love is not being returned:Tonight, the Supreme Court stayed the execution of a vicious cop killer. He committed the crime in 1989.Too bad Georgia couldn't crucify him for 21 years.Instead, this bum got free room and board on us for the time period.

By the way...I do believe that Jesus Christ was a great MAN who set out to teach lessons...About the extent of it. Anything past that would put a person in the crazy house where he belongs now...

Your observations are much more plausible then the brainwashed majority. It is what it is. We live in a neutral world where each person is dealt completely different cards, some with no chance (dieing at birth or living 5 years before dying with cancer or in a car wreck) while others learn to play the game and make the best of it. The world is neutral as a rule, believing other wise gives people a reason to go on and explain their eventual death to themselves without constant worry of what is going to happen to them when they die...

What is the story of the celestial tea pot? It is a tea pot that is orbiting the sun somewhere in space .....

Regardless of wether it is proved or disproved that a tea pot in space actually exists, the fact remains that it is testable.....As difficult as it would be to detect the tea pot, it is possible given the smallest of probabilities to physically detect it as it is within our REALM. Nevertheless, it would be PHYSICALLY possible to detect the tea pot. This is no different to me saying there are Kangaroos playing baseball in Jupiter....The point is wether my claims are true or not, the fact is, that it is POSSIBLE to test wether my claims are true or not, just like the tea pot.

The theory of God is that his realm is in the supernatural and will only be witnessed by death. Therefore he is not testable.

Is it written that God will be at your local shopping mall on Sundays? Is it written that God will appear at your local Church on Sunday visible to everyone? Is it written that God is in space like the tea pot but is very hard to detect?

That is the reason this argument is flawed, just like the common atheist claim of comparing God to Santa, the tooth fairy, etc etc.

The reality is those are testable as THEY ARE IN OUR REALM where as the theory of God is in the supernatural, is NOT testable.

Comparing the 2 is a fallacy of equivocation

    You are contradicting yourself.....

On the one hand you are stating that it is the greatest book written on giving life lessons, lying being one of them, yet on the other hand, you are claiming there are lies in there?

How can an author give arguably real truths in life yet on the other hand lying out of there complete backsides.

You cant pick and chose what you want to believe in.

It is either ALL true or none of it is true.

    Another contradiction.

How can you say he was a great man because of his teachings which mostly centred about him being the son of God yet on the other hand you dont believe he was the son of God?

He was either who he says he was or he was a lunatic.

You cant pick and choose what you like.

I apologize for offending you with my personal beliefs, but as the usual religious observations you had some fine one's. No, I did not contradict myself. What I said was correct. If what you believe helps you sleep at night, so be it.

The books in the bible teach great lessons, Jesus Christ was a great man for helping spread the lessons along with several others, just not possible for man to form a religion based on more than one leader. The parts about referring to god is meant to be "self", not dogma. Thanks for playing, but the fact is neither of us were here 2000 years ago as no one else was either and don't believe everything you read just because you were born into. Try and explain a virgin having a baby too me again, I love that one. You are just one of millions with all the answers that you were born (brainwashed) to believe so they can live life unfettered by the reality of their morality, simple as that...P.S. Many of the beliefs such as his birth day and such were talked about by others and other messiahs long before his birth of Jesus, much of it was stolen. Take a few hisstory classes with a professor who is not religiously biased, you might learn the truth (well at least someone with an opened mind might, you have little chance). On the bright side, the pure act of faith in anything (even religion) works and provides what you see as reliogion so power on my friend...

You do not get it, ate up with Dogma..There are great truths in the bible (many stolen from past civilizations for your benefit), that does not mean theer are not fallacies as well. If you cannot understand this concept there is little hope for you as a rule...If believing in fairy tells gives you 100% belief in something then I envy you, I wish it were that easy for me, but unfortunately I am awake...

This is not about proofs or pre-suppositions you are making (i was brainwashed) which is an argument that has many flaws within it

On one hand you have stated that Jesus was a "great" man yet in the same sentence you stated that he wasnt who he was claiming to be.

If he is lying about that, then why should i believe anything he said?

He was either a great man and believe or he was a lunatic. There is NO evidence to suggest he was lunatic but rather who he was is true.

You just cant pick and chose whatever suits your argument.

On the bright side, the pure act of faith in anything (even religion) works and provides what you see as reliogion so power on my friend...

Do you have PROOF or EMPIRICAL evidence that it was all a fairytale?
