ok and I guess no white people get passed over for jobs when black people are in charge. I worked in tech support/sales before where the racial breakdown was 80/20 black and that includes management. I saw a lot of people who were trying to move up in the company quit because black management would only promote black people in the company. If you think this doesn't happen then you are high. Their reasoning is that if they don't promote other black people then who will. The thing is there are laws in place to make sure things like not hiring black people doesn't happen. The age of racism has for the most part ended, but a lot of black people do not want it to end, as then they will not have any excuse for not prospering in life.

I'd say it is at the highest it has been since the civil rights movement. Seems to me that you are one of the people I alluded to in a previous post and your statement about making an excuse for not prospering in life is just projection.

I agree in that racism has been and will always be present. Since the dawn of men there has been racism one form or another. This isn't a new thing and will continue. However, you are fooling yourself if you think racism is a white man disease. All races have some racist fools in it. In the many years I have been dealing with people I have met just as many racist blacks as whites. Where I currently live people are much more racist to Native-Americans than any other race. I would suspect that there are some racist Native-Americans too but I must admit I have never met one. There is no solution to racism until eventally the races have mixed enough where basically everyone skin color is pretty much the same. That ain't going to happen for a long time it appears.
Bottom line is that this subject is getting tired and time to move it on. As I realizaed last night with jokelax you are never going to convince anyone on this subject. People are who they are and they are never going to change... expecially when it comes to how they view themselves in relation to others. BOL!

no doubt obama won partially because bush and company were so incredibly bad but if racism was as bad as it was in the 60's, someone other than obama could have won, how about hilary? or is discrimination against women worse than blacks?

Now that the ones opposed (I wonder what part of the nation voted against) have a reason to be vocal about their hate for Obama, it is no surprise racial tension has escalated higher than it has in decades.
