Everyone knows different races/and people across different regions(think GA vs Boston) speak differently period. Different dialects/vernacular are common across all races. And yes gwynn sounds like most people from his region that I come across. I typically don't see race first like a lot of prejudiced people. Just so you know most educated blacks or whites don't spend their time in the ghetto or trailer parks so we don't come across the ebonics speaking rappers or athletes you see on tv 60% of the time. That'd be like saying 6 out of 10 white people I come across sound like Hillbillies which isn't true either even though I did spend 8 years in GA where blacks/whites alike spoke with a ridiculous southern drawl and a completely different dialect than those in the nations capital.

Most of the people on covers think what they think and then find things/events to support those thoughts.  Not many people on covers capable of coming to conclusions based on facts. 

If you listened to the DA re. Big Ben, he was completely pissed off that he couldn't press charges.  Why do you think he went out of his way to talk about how despicable it was?  But he also knows when he can and can't win a case.  Completely wasted gal.....says, "we can't do this" and then they proceed to have sex.  No threat to yell, "rape."  No actual yelling of, "rape." 

Big Ben's attorneys would poke more holes in their case then a block of swiss cheese.  I could win that case if I was Ben's attorney based on what I know from watching "Law and Order." 

And I don't know about the office you work in, but every single person on my office thinks Ben has a problem and has committed a criminal act in at LEAST one of these incidents.  But the people in my office are also smart enough to know that there is a better chance that I QB the Steelers next year then he can get convicted for this incident in Georgia. 

By the way, wasn't Marvin Harrison involved in some pretty shady behavior related to a gun?   How many people on covers blasted him because he was black?  NONE.  He wasn't convicted and he's generally a nice guy.

People like Plaxico.....Vick......S. Rogers.  Caught red handed.  MORE then enough evidence to convict.

And did Arenus and that other guy on Washington really get that much shit from people on covers for their stupid gun incident?  Not that much.  Last time I checked, they are both black.

People chose to believe what they want and then look for examples that prove they are right. 

All that said, I think Ben does have a problem, I think he has committed at least one criminal act....I think he prays on "defenseless" women and gets off on it. 

It's disgusting.  Will I still watch the Steelers play if he's their QB?  I would imagine so.  Just like I'll watch S. Rogers play if there is a game involving him.
